Thinking of doing Obliteration Route Hard Mode, but we'll see - Super Mario RPG comes out tomorrow and I'm planning on doing a full playthrough of it, can't wait! I'll be doing "voice acting" (in my style, you get it at this point), should be a lot of fun. Expect more fangame content too, as I now have the talented @chokeonwater editing my videos alongside me (who edited 95% of this video)! So videos should be more consistent, which is really exciting. So so excited for the future of the channel, hope you all are as well 😁what fangame should I play next? Undertale Gold is gonna take priority over everything when that drops, I want to do some videos on Underswap too. Then sometime before the end of they year we're getting ch3 of Deltatraveler! HYPED!

You should also play RIBBIT the deltarune mod, its a really high quality mod of ch1 wich adds too much new content and changes almost everything (even attacks and various characters, etc including two difficulties), like a new experience using deltarune as a base, also its mainly a bit of meme mod but not all, like the story is more serious and certains parts of the game too
Something different happens in HM so if you do genocide route in hardmode minor things start to happen until you get done with ruins than the “real battle begins”😅

Yay! Mass murder and blood! Epic! Also, why didnt you use red buster at all??? If you use it twice against paula you get access to x-slash which makes the battle a lot easier.
well, not a lot easier. Just faster. He still managed to survive most of the attacks by Dual-Heal anyway
@@Muhammed-lq2ie well, its easier because you deal more damage faster, like, if you have 100% tp, you can use rude buster, x slash, and iceshock on the same turn, the battle would be a lot harder if you tried to fight paula with Noelle's FIGHT which deals very low damage.

Fun Fact: It is actually possible to spare Paula and Ness during the obliteration route, bit doing so will abort it for obvious reasons.

something else about having Ness and Paula spare you is if you try and kill Paula Ness jumps in front of her and sacrifices himself for her

I just wish Dr Andonuts was in the earthbound section. that would be such a cool callback to Toby's first game, the earthbound Halloween hack.
In the fight with Paula you can unblock Kris .... I forgot who he named... To unlock a new attack you need a red Buster at one point and you will not be able to use it but you can unlock a new Кris attack. It is very powerful and costs a little TP

30:31 It happens with Ness. He sees his old memories, him being young, his old dog King being young. Kris used red horns to be like Asriel and parents. That's why he saw red horns. It was the embodiment of his wish to be like someone, to be not alone.
thats a nice detail! one detail that you have forgotten is that Kris is genderless, and cannot be called a "he" nor a "she". but thanks for telling everyone about this awesome little detail!

Toby Fox, the creator of the game, has continuously stated in his social media that Kris is THEM. Toby even fixed the pronounciation in some comments of other people who misgendered Kris. its not a rule i made, its a rule made by the one who MADE THE CHARACTER. i am only FOLLOWING that rule and asking others to comply, nicely. you shouldnt be rude and shove your queerphobia everywhere.

I really love this fangame! I swear it's awesome! I liked watching you play it as well. And yeah that route does make you feel terrible. Also consider playing genocide route on hard mode.
Never in my life i thought that one day i would watch a man running a yt channel named chiken kill a old man who is a cultist and also gave them a bomb for killing them and the killers are a buncha teenagers who dont even belong in the same universe

The Horn of Life is the best healing item, curing you from every possible status change and even reviving fallen team mates.
I played Earthbound right before Deltatraveler, that bit made me feel awful.

I love the Ness and Paula battle.
Just watching this makes me feel disgusting, this genocide route is 10x more brutal because you can see the people you’ve killed just laying there, and it really sinks in. With them in a pool of blood it’s just really sad, makes you feel worse.

What happens if you kill paula first
You can’t, she just heals, and it you make them spareable and try to betrayal kill Paula first, Ness jumps in front of her and still died first
While I cant tell its a remix or not, but I love that the megalovainia is at least based on the Earthbound Halloween hack version if not is that version going by the intro alone, which is a very nice touch.
Fun fact: the only difference between religion and cults is government acknowledgement.

@@Chikenthink they might've meant the extra scene you get for picking that other dialogue option that you mentioned earlier! You were right about that - you get an extra scene for picking 'i feel great', similar to the Noelle scene in section 2.
