The original Cat/conv just finally plugged in My 93 Tahoe (I have an exact 93 twin down to exact color Yukon also). I just bought a "Speedway" universal dual 2 1/2 kit for $149.00. No mufflers or hardware period. I TIG so I'm gonna do a complete custom install. But I gotta say, I'm a little jealous that Mine wont be so straight forward. Nice to see people still doing their own work these days.
Great job. I feel very confident in doing this myself. But only because I have some experience in working on exhaust because you didn't explain much of what you where doing. Still a good video overall. Thank you.
Personally bro..... I would concentrate on preserving that rusty old frame and leaf springs and not worry about duel exhaust. It won’t do you any good when sitting on the side of the road with a broken frame.
@@ArchersGearheadGarage So the bracket for the rear driver side comes with the entire exhaust kit? That's cool then I thought maybe you had to order it separate like the clamps and gasket. Thanks a lot this clears it all up.
Did you have to cut the exhaust pipe in front of the muffler? Or did you do that out of convenience so you wouldn’t have to do a maze of trying to get the whole exhaust system in one piece

In my opinion flowmaster did a stupid job with this exhaust. They made it go from dual in single out exhaust to dual to single back to dual. Not a fan but also not my truck.
Comments like this are hilarious... ive had FACTORY exhaust come in with clamps on it so... not to mention if u dont over tighten the clamps they seal as good as any other connection ...

Nice work man..im waitng on the same kit to arrivw but i grabbed a super 10 series kit
What your kit number how was it?
Why did flowmaster not just run it true dual with a DI/DO muffler I wonder?
I'd love to do this to my 97 Silverado Z71
EEEEXCELLENT WORK BROTHER!!!
I wish flowmaster would sell just that y pipe flange piece

With those 90° mandrels do you have room to put chrome tips on?
the tips i got were supplied with the kit. i would say any other brand of tip would work aswell

Im Canadian so I am unsure of the legal requirements for your area.
If the kit comes with a C.A.R.B. sticker it should be legal for use in all 50 ✌
