Star man what a Helpful video. I have just purchased a CRF300 and live in the northwest, sooo looking forward to doing some trails. Cheers for the pointers pal.
Great vid and informative as always. I’m a member of the TRF and use their map to find the lanes. I then transpose them into viewranger and then use that to navigate the lane. I have the annual VR subscription so it allows me to see the whole UK OS mapping so no need for a map. I carry two iPhones one old one on the bike to Nav with and my day to day phone in my pocket as a hotspot for the old phone and emergency backup to the one on the bike.
I'd ride down it... Thsts the adventure, being shot at by an angry farmer lol... View ranger is great but a lot of lanes on view ranger are declassified so be careful
Hey Sam, seeing as the TET app forms a uk centric loop, I suppose it's only ever kinda near you if you're on the loop! Our nearest section is just over an hour away too. The SW is drowning in lanes though, just looking at Trail wise I can see you're really lucky. How do you find the lanes?

Nice one, pleased it helps 😎👌🏻
Thanks Guys - great videos. Just purchased CRF250 Rally for some off road fun
Great video.. used this lane alot when I lived at Waddington.. I would go to Melton Mowbray and do some lanes around there.
During the war..
Hey Nick, yep, one of the main lanes near Waddo. We use Melton lanes in the spring/summer, at this time of the year, they're a bit of a mud bath! 👊🏻😎
Nice choice of road on the map. Cam high road was my first ever lane!

@@lightweightadv I think is about £29/year mind you they’ve switched to Outdoor active. Just as good an app but I prefer the VR mappinp and app.
Great video and advice, I had a TD5 110 many moons ago👍
I'm starting to like your Defender..

ViewRanger is good as you can use the app with your smart watch , makes it nice and easy to record a new track 🙂
That TET app is useless in the Southwest. Not one bit of off-road and I am surrounded by green lanes.

Is this near Temple Bauer in Lincolnshire?
Not a million miles away. We ride much closer to TB normally.
@@lightweightadv I recognised the church and I use that UCR along side of oi on my bike sometimes.
