I always change gearbox oil regularly, even though some constructors claim the gearbox is "lifetime lubricated" this is based on an average lifetime that is rather short (10 years /150 000 km) the actual lifetime is always longer when changed on a regular basis (60 000 for my A2 under gently use) PS: congratulations on yours which looks fabulous, this color is my favorite (though I had to get a black one since I could not find a blue one with the engine I was looking for, 1.6 fsi)
The drain plug for the transmission oil is clear, but I can not find the plug for filling the oil. Could you discribe where the location is? Many thanks

i had all these things done and my A2 felt like new after…. i can still remember the first drive and the better noise and drive profile after it❤

My opinion is that you cannot miss either with LUK or Sachs. Both are quality manufacturers. I am glad that my videos help you. Enjoy your A2 :).

I have the same noise with my starter motor. Did you repair or replace?
Repair. But check the cost of repair, because it might be cheaper to just replace it with a new one.
