You're right...those who can play understand the technical difficulties...no argument there. We who don't play still appreciate this superb sound Augustin creates from a piece of wood...metal string and some horsehair. We might not know what it is... but we know 'something' is happening. Just awesome. 😃 I can only imagine what music in Heaven will sound like.
was so fortunate to see this live in pittsburgh !!! rented a car and drove 5hr just to see him perform and it was one of the most amazing experiences ever. the sound he gets out of this instrument is simply surreal
Agreed with Mark Wong! As a professional violinist I am left awed and moved by the mastery and artistry of your playing. Mr. Hadelich, if I've said it once, I'll say it again. You're a god among men. You have blessed all of mankind with your talent.
Thinking of my cousin Dale who passed away recently. He was a beautiful soul, loved by his family intensely. This music in this moment helps, performed by another beautiful soul.
Incredibly beautiful tone, breathtaking musicality. Listening to Hadelich is simply magical... What a blessing. The pianist is the perfect partner for this collaboration...the two of them speak the same musical language.
The serenade II is simply stratospheric. By far the most beautiful piece of music I have ever heard. It's gut churning and heartbreaking but my God is it worth it.
Only me who is finding this stunningly beautiful? Such a deep, rich, full sound, and the audio quality captures it all, everything is so seemlessly perfect. Thank you very much for this series of duets!
Stravinsky is complicated!! It takes a real musician to be able to do it right! And you really know how to do it right! I didn't know of this other version. I thought the only ones out there were transcriptions he did with Dushkin...those are all hard enough. Stravinsky is "hard" and "harder", as my piano teacher used to say.
So elegant...and also quirky! I've played the Dushkin version before, but Stravinsky's own is refreshing to hear. ♡ I saw on a subway advertisement the other day that you'll be playing with the Seoul Phil this season! I wanna come~~~
Bravo bravo Maestro Augustin, keep up be strong, never lose hope, music is our salvation, l am just a humble average supporter of yours Ok? 😉😀🤩😘💕🥂😍🍍🍷🍾🤗🎺🐕🐅🎁🐶🐱🐈🥳🥰👻🐶🤗😍🐢🥂😀😉🤩😘💕🐼🐯🍾🎺🍷🍷🤗🍷🍾🎺🍾🍷🤗🍷
Hey Augustin. Saw you in Copenhagen Yesterday. You were brilliant. Hope you enjoyed playing as much as we all enjoyed watching and hearing you play. I guess following you on youtube is the next best option :-). Best regards from Copenhagen
This is the first time I hear this version and I really like it. It’s interesting that I recently learned about the violinist Kochanski and played his transcription of Ravel’s Pavane. Kochanski definitely had a lot of influence during his time. Thank you for sharing and you sounded wonderful as usual! I also just looked at the violin part and it is much harder than the Dushkin version!
¡ BRAVO, MAESTRO ! Thanks for sharing. I still remember your concert with Julia Fischer and the St Martin in the Fields at the Konzerthaus, Berlin, may 2019.
So joyful! You two are an amazing duo. I'm looking forward your concert in Frankfurt on the 10th (I hope it's going to happen as planned). The information in the description is very interesting, I didn't know that this arrangement existed.
Thank you so much Augustin, I really really enjoyed watching you play so beautifully and with such amazing passion and sensitivity too. I really really love ❤️ that music 🎶 you really really are truly gifted and talented and clever too. Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags
What is up with all your concertos being wiped off youtube? The Tchaikovsky violin concerto in D major op 35, the Mendelssohn violin concerto in E minor?
He said in one comment that TH-cam doesn't allow full upload concert. Only pieces. It's so unfair. I hope Sibelius and Paganini concertos don't get taken down. They r just beyond incredible.
@@dingdingbella6521 They did sound different, and in my opinion better. Especially the Mendelssohn. Maybe whenever he plays a repeat of a concerto/piece he privatises the other one so there’s only one version out there.
there is a boosey & hawkes anthology of the complete Stravinsky violin and piano music, which contains this version, as well as the later Dushkin transcription. The standalone "suite italienne" is the Dushkin version. It's the same music, but different arrangements and the Dushkin transcription is a bit easier.
Only violin players can understand how difficult it is to make a bow sound so effortless to give such a beautiful sound, great job as always =]

Sprezzatura at its finest!
Well, possibly Viola, 'Cello and Double Bass players too.
Mr Hadelich is a damn savage ngl, just incredible tone. I was lucky enough to hear his rendition of the Beethoven with St. Luke, my goodness

I live in Pittsburgh and only saw a poster for that performance after it had happened. Wish I could have been there! It must have seemed magical.

I hate god comparisons. I would say he lines up with with Heifetz, Oistrakh, Milstein...
This man is one of the finest violinists I've ever heard. 👏🏽

The paring of Hadelich and Weiss is so seamless it's hard to imagine a better ensemble! Loved this set!
charming. clean, shiny like glass
my favorite violinist ever
Beautiful like a sunshiny day🥰
The bow control is marvellous as always.
Such elegance...
Qualité d'articulation, diction, précision, délicatesse...
Que c'est beau !
Quelle sublime qualité d'écoute entre ces deux musiciens !
Merci..!! 🤩🤩

Como sempre impressionante. Hadelich sendo Hadelich. Parabéns Hadelich!!

Ausgezeichnet👏👏👏wie immer) Danke sehr!
I can't put into words how much I love listening your playing.

Obviously very rare and extremely excellent performance. Thanks a lot.

I can’t agree anymore
Still can't believe we get to enjoy such beautiful music for free. Hope to listening to you in a concert hall very soon. :)

As always: expressive, musical, and a pleasure to the senses. It's definitely on my bucket list to attend one of Mr. Hadelich's concerts.

@@AugustinHadelichViolin Thank you for your reply! Is it the red one book with the Stravinsky portrait on cover?
..and thank you once again for your excellent performance of original version ❤
