people don't realize Nigeria is home to those who have the blood. it doesn't matter where you live in the world. There are opportunities, you just have to know how to get them and use them to your advantage. Thanks Adenike for this video.
Inspiring story! Nigeria has a way of making one a Jack/Jane of all trades. It only makes us stronger. That one about money leaving your pocket like magic? Tell me about it. I always feel like I am losing money anytime I'm in Naija. So many unplanned-for expenditures.
OMG!!!! I've blown ooo!!! You watched my video!!!!!!!!! You know I've been following your recipes since forever??? (Even now that I'm in Nigeria ....lol) OMG!!!! Thank you!!!!!!
You are distinct! Please do not change your delivery style ( You are so REAL and so funny how you do all your narratives) Routing for you all the way! You are such a success story 👍
Wow... Finally and at last! A true 9ja chic that combines everything from beauty, brains and above all... 'FACING' and not 'FAKING' reality! Sisi Nike, abeg come marry me jare! Happy belated b'day anyway!
Hey Adenike, this such an uplifting and inspirational story, a great example to other girls in the Lagos and diaspora with plans of being successful in Nigeria but think their only part to success, reaching their goals or career path is by sleeping around with every man they believe could help them. Your honest is so refreshing and understandably your believe, Faith in God and values simply oozes out in every comment in the post...well done, may God in whom you trust continue to uplift you in all you endeavors and may all His promises concerning you all come to past in Jesus Name. you've just made my day :)
Every young Nigerian should be inspired by your story. I had a similar experience in the early stages of my career in Europe. I believe in you and I am sure you will come out on top of your game. keep doing what you do best!
I'm not moving to Nigeria until 1) have my own house, 2) my own vehicle and 3) savings. My plan is to be my own employer and I won't rely on others except of course as customers. Anyways, good going young lady many more mercies for you. Joining you soon.
Wow..it takes courage to put yourself out there for whole world to see, and you don't appear to be prideful or anything...you seem humble . The good Lord bless your hard work. You are an encouragement. God bless.
I wish you had done this vlog before i did my NYSC in 2015. Your own is even better. I ended up living in Isolo, mainland because I could not afford rent on the Island and I didn't know anyone I could squat with. Imagine the culture shock when I ended up in Oshodi OK for the first time by myself. Trying to figure out buses to take and translating the names conductors were saying so that I could get to the island. Only for one conductor to insult me, that I am suppose to come down at Oshodi Saleh instead of OK. Keep in mind, I grew up abroad and any time I came to Nigeria, I was definitely pampered. Original Ajebutter. I haven't finished the video but everything you said thus far is 100% true. Returnee's wanting to move back to Nigeria....ummmm.... it's not for the weak but the strong in spirit and will. What I will say is that Nigeria does have the tendency to bring the best or worst out of you. You find a strength that you never thought you had. You witness miracles that I have never seen happen elsewhere. And its the only place I know where there are no set rules and nothing is definite. A " yes" from one person can be a "no" from another person. A rejection in one moment can be an answered prayer in another moment. The person that promised you heaven and earth can deny, lie, back stab and sabotage you. However, the stranger that you didn't know and never solicited assistance from, can come and be your helping hand or open doors that you never knew existed. People can fight with you one minute and the next begin to laugh with you. Lagos makes you shine your eyes and gives you a rude awakening that there is nothing absolutely nothing beyond your reach. Besides God, you control your destiny and need to be an active participant. I wish you all the best Adenike. May you find all that your looking for and much more.
I love the story sweet, I am a film student leaving in Ireland and my dream is to products my own film in Nigeria. Thanks for sharing, also I have my own TH-cam channel

Possibly this may be due to your makeup on this video series, your look is slightly similar to not pretty Michelle Obama. Cheers🦋
