@@AirWorthyTours They don't need to this stadium has a timeless look renovations of the interior from time to time is all it needs. Its like Wrigley filed timeless.
The State of Louisiana will never let it be used as a shelter again. The refugees trashed the place during Katrina and 6-7 years earlier during Georges (I think). They caused hundreds of millions of dollars in damage.
Thanks Cap'n for the tour. This is truly the Holy Grail of the modern NFL with ALL of the moments. I've been to Lambeau, and it's like Heaven, but I can't wait to see a game in the Dome! My fav music show that I've seen there was on TV, during the halftime of the Patriots/Rams SB, "When the Streets Have No Name" drop with the names after 9-11. Best moment in U2's history. Yet there's so much more... to think of Katrina, Ali, and all the stuff that's happened here??? Woah... This place need to be a national landmark.
It really should be a national landmark! There's a binge on building new NFL stadiums but outside of some ongoing renovations The Dome needs to stay as is.
I ain't got much of a big bucket list... But #1 on my bucket list, followed by having a kid and getting married: going to a Saints game at HOME. Been to two only two saints games (in Charlotte, NC and Tampa, FL), but still haven't had the chance to visit The Louisiana Superdome (mad respect to Benz and Caesars, but I'm too stubborn to call it anything else).
15-0, beat Bama, UGA, Oklahoma, Texas, and knocked off the defending champs in Clemson to win the national championship. Three of their top four players on the team have already played in the Super Bowl.
Such a beautiful timeless stadium will probably be around for many decades to come.
Hopefully! Unlike other NFL markets the New Orleans does not have the real estate to build another stadium

@@James-lu4hb Agreed!
No it’s gonna sink along with the rest of New Orleans
Raiders fan but I love learning about other stadium's
You chose the right channel because we have many stadium tours. Almost all of our city tours includes a sports arena.
Superdome sure has a lot of history inside of it 😳. Glad the dome could serve as a shelter during Katrina for thousands!
A lot of utilities, functions, and purposes for a sports facility!

@@booksteer7057 I really mean no disrespect but a refugee is someone who flee there country for another
@@datking9184 Oh, right. I forgot. I remember Oprah made a big deal about that at the time. Sorry.

Wow! I really learned a lot !!
Glad it was helpful!
My city flodded a lot but the superdome still sitting strong
Yes indeed 🏆
Thank you so much
You're most welcome
When you walk inside the Dome, it feels like you’re entering a Huge Spaceship. I love it. I’m not impressed with these current stadiums.
It really is! And there is so much history in the building.

You should definitely make it a priority!
It was also the home of Tulane football when they didn't have an on campus stadium in the uptown.
🖤🖤
The Superdome should host the FIFA World Cup in 2026
Agreed!
It looks wider than houstons nrg stadium to me and I have never been to new Orleans
Is it bigger than houstons nrg stadium?????😂
I don't think so
Educational, but bro! Your sentences😂😂😂
LSU 2019 wasn’t the best team ever
