You must watch a bunch of crappie shows (ha...sorry pun intended). I'm glad your learning from the channel. Thanks for watching. I appreciate it a lot. Thank you
Hey my favorite jig tier I have an idea that I have stumbled upon. When im using marabou I have re-purposed 1one of my old snuff cans and went to dollar tree and purchased a round sponge. I'll dampen the sponge and place it in my old snuff can and dampen the marabou and it makes it much more easier to work with. If you don't use snuff any small tin can will suffice. I love your channel my friend
I appreciate you watching. I may give that a whirl sometime. It's been a while since I have done any tying or fishing for that matter. Thanks for the suggestion. Much appreciated
.Good video. congrats on the new vice. i use a 15 dollar on and still have trouble. would not dare sell one of mine. i cant lose them fast enough. fun tying
Put the jig in the vise, tighten the nut until it barely holds the jig in place, THEN use the cam to secure it. Also, you don't have to insert the hook so deep, just at the bottom of the bend before the barb so it can give you a lot more room to tie.
Hey CA your jig tying videos are awesome brother. I too went to a peak rotary vise and I needed new driving lessons myself lmao. Can I make a recommendation for you? I used the same kind of bobbin you are using but after several uses the metal tube gets burrs and will shred or cut your thread. For 5 years now I have been using a ceramic tube bobbin. As a matter of fact my first one I purchased 5 years ago is still the same one im using. I would love to sit and tie with you sometime. Also I subbed your channel
Hey David. Sorry I don't recall what brand it was. It was from bass pro as well. It clamped to desk and did not swivel. Sorry, I know that wasn't much help.
LOL! 13:35. Don't worry, CA, you're not the only one with a backyard train. Got one myself.
That was my attempt to add a sound effect to represent a train wreck 😁...and an explosion when the thread snapped 😁
@@paperlipmafia LOL!!! I DON"T NEED SOUND EFFECTS, GET THE REAL THING TWICE A DAY!
🚂🚂🚂😁😁😁 Hey Jimmie that muddy pond over there in your neck of the woods...how the fishing going? They jumpin in the boat?
You are good. I've learned more from you than many others. Thank you for sharing!!!

Sorry CA the monkey shine got me I busted out laughing.
Monkey shine does kind of make you grin when coming off the lips. That is a legit color name coined by Mr Crappie aka Walley Marshal.
LOL, CA! I told you the Peak was the best bang for your bucks.
Ha ha...the bar wasnt set very high with my previous vise but I did go with your recommendation and so far I'm pleased. Thanks bud
We're not laughing at you. We are shortening our learning curve through your efforts.
Lol...I heard that 😁
