USS Harry S. Truman Flight Deck Ops • Ionian Sea (2022)

The U.S. Navy aircraft carrier, USS Harry S. Truman (CVN-75), tests the close-in weapon system (CIWS) and conducts routine flight deck operations while deployed in the Ionian Sea and Adriatic Sea on April 5, 2022. The Harry S. Truman Carrier Strike Group (Carrier Strike Group 8) is on a scheduled deployment in the U.S. Sixth Fleet area of operations in support of U.S. - allies and partner interests in Europe and Africa.

It sucks in the Persian Gulf, but can be the best thing when it's cold and rainy. Mostly, his only job is to watch. He'll get relieved and get to hang out in the crash shack in probably an hour or 2.
