Huard ploughs were taken over by Kuhn and relocated to a brand new factory at some point in the 1990’s. Kuhn/Huard actually have their own steel works and I visited the factory some 15 years ago and saw them using their massive presses or hammers to make the mouldboards and points. All wearing parts indeed. For parts I suggest you visit your nearest Kuhn dealer. To match your 1200, you really should get the then-innovative diamond plough.
ive got a 1986 d reg 399 2wd red cab in the shed ,which still works and sounds awesome under full load ,i love the old massey ferguson equipment. thanks dan
We had one behind our 185 , we also welded the legs to the frames as using it in flinty ground the holding bolts came loose & sheared , otherwise it was a good plough
A very nice addition Dan👍 can’t wait to see the pair turning a field over 😁. And look at your rubbing shoulders with all these YT stars! You’ll be on radio and tv soon!
That plough looks well behind the 4wd 178! Have a 30 plough myself also had a 260. Check out my video of it ploughing! Also recently got new front disc for a Massey ferguson 28 disc harrow haven't got her out yet for a good workout 💪

I've never seen a diamond plough, never mind tried to buy one 😆
@@CowfarmerDan Maybe not but it matches the age and MF1200 demographic perfectly. Should one come up for sale, maybe you should pounce on it?
Yes, it would be great to have one.
Great addition to your fleet Dan perfect match for the 178
They do look good together, a perfect match.
