use to live in katy, cinco area and left around 2012 -2013 cant exactly recall but the area is nice. its amazing that this mall has not died out quite yet and its obvious they are trying to retrofit the area in hopes that they can put breath into a dying info structure. i dont think people really want to live close to malls though and the want plus the price will most likely be just a little too high for most peoples interest to engage in such a thing. the age of the super mall is coming to a close as less people feel the need or want to pay high prices for cheap goods and also spend their time within these mega structures.
You know there building this next to pin oaks and falcon point. All of the land shown was completely forest, when near water it created sand beaches for us kids at the time, we loved it. I built sand castles forts and almost everything in between. I had a whole friend group. Tryia and Trisha the twins. David and Jacob the brothers. Sam my best friend. Lucas and violet the boy with his dog. And me and Russ brothers just a year apart Russell being the oldest. We all had our own gang. I doesn’t matter to anyone but it matters to me. I got my first kiss right under one of those brides. When it first got built. It was safe to say I was native to the land. And so was everyone else. We all went our separate ways with me moving to Georgia. David going his way Jacob going the other so on so fourth. This place was my home. You have to think about the origins of the people around were your building cause that hurted my little 10 year old self slowly seeing your childhood ripped away just slowly and surely. This place was great.
I know those dang Californiains destroyed all of us kids childhoods and I hate them honestley I never got to swim there but it’s sad to see what this town turned into
It doesn’t feel anything about African Americans. It feels like a great place to live and work for PEOPLE! I don’t think anyone would deny this nor anyone would want anything else
@@noway8054 Yeah that's the way it should be but as we all know most places are NOT like that but anyway thank you for not really answering the question.
Now we just need a transportation system in Katy and we are sure to become one of the biggest suburban cities in Texas
4 YEARS LATER … STILL NOT HERE THANKFULLY 🙏🏼🙏🏼

When will this be finished?
Almost half a decade later there’s barely anything there presently besides the lofts.
But no outdoor concert venue like The Woodlands?? bummer
The world is going to hell. But at least there's another place to celebrate consumerism.
Home does Katy Texas feel about African Americans?
I can't believe you went there but since you did I'm interested in the answer

@@noway8054 Awesome thank you
It’s a very diverse place where you see people from different backgrounds. I’m from the east coast and love it here.
