Hello, I already live in Katy-Williamsburg Colony and am looking to start renting that out and then buying a new house. Not sure what to do to even get started.
I have a dilemma of choosing 3 to 4 places after I retire(military) in 3 years. My first choice was Arizona but my wife shot that down as it's not near a beach, so it then became Florida. My second choice is Houston and my third is South Carolina. After watching your videos on Houston I'm thinking we might go to Houston. We have 3 years so we can visit the other states to see if it will be any better.
hello where do single parent with kid usually living? if i have plan to move houston with son here always you showing houses never apartments rent and etc
I know this was posted years ago, but I hope this can still be answered. We may be moving here from northern Illinois where things like scorpions and tarantulas, and poisonous snakes and spiders, and gators are something you see only in a zoo. We lived in GA for a few years and I was beside myself with the things that got into our house, and that is with monthly bug treatments. To be fair, we did live where there were a lot of trees, but I’m kind of freaking out thinking about moving to the south again. This may seem silly for those from here, but it can really put you in a panic when you’re not used to seeing these things. How often do these things appear in homes and yards? Please, just honesty. I’d rather know what I’m getting myself into and not be caught off guard. I should mention we also have a dog that can possibly carry these things into our home. Thank you so much.
All the time. We've killed many copperhead snakes in our garage and back patio. The local YMCA on main straight has a rather large gator that lives in its retention pond. There is a tennis court and park right off of Cinco Ranch Blvd that is home to multiple large gators and cotton mouths. And the fire ants are everywhere seemingly invincible.
This was in Cane Island. The lot size on that home is 11,000sqft. They are still building these. Would you like to schedule a call with our Katy buyer specialist to assist in answering any questions?
@@livinginhtx thanks! We’re in Austin now, it’s been so hot here the past couple months, I noticed that Houston is not as hot, so we’re going to Houston tomorrow for a week to look around! Hope can see some model houses there too.
It’s not bad, spending $1000 per year to have a clean cohesive neighborhood that offers well maintained amenities is worth it for some people. There are non hoa options as well, but not master planned and don’t look as nice
What about the negatives? Gestapo board members, getting fines for leaving your trash bin overnight, mandatory painting, and never truly owning your home.

This is the 3rd video today on you showing around the woodlands and now Katy. But again for families that go to church. You never mention anything about churches and safety on crime. These are 2 important issue to me more then schools and football. You promote schools more then 1 word about churches in the area. You end the video with beer in front of you. 😢 Sad statement to end on.
A couple of things. 1. I’m a big fan of churches and am very involved in mine, just doesn’t make sense to talk about every church in every city. 2. Is it a crime to have a beer? (And what’s funny is I actually don’t drink anymore) 3. My most recent video is on crime, go check it out. There are very strict rules on what realtors can discuss about crime, I’m not legally allowed to go into depth on crime rates. Hope this helps ease your judgements
