Fun fact, Mythra actually works pretty well as Fairy type, as most light based moves are fairy type and that's Mythra's whole thing.
I also want to add that before Little Z got RUDELY interrupted, he was probably going to say that Byleth was ground type because of the weapons that they use are made of bones, and bones are pretty much just dirt if you look into it
I think she works better as Psychic, since many Psychic-type moves are light-based moves (Psybeam, Psycho Cut, Psycho Boost, Stored Power, Photon Geyser, Prismatic Laser, Mystical Power, Lumina Crash), but I can still see Fairy since Iron Valiant is a Fairy/Fighting-type robot with giant energy blades for hands!
I'd say move mythra to electric because her thing is lightning fast moves such as, lightning buster.
Then move rob to steel for obvious reasons, Lucario to fighting because he is fighting, kazuya to dark because devil genes, and then sephiroth to fairy because he's the one winged angel (which if we were doing dual types would make him dark fairy which feels appropriate).

Fighting type is easy to fill though, and Lucario is also steel type, so I don't see any reason to move him

Marth's sword is actually effective at dragon slaying because it's made from the fang of the Divine Dragon Naga, so really he's not Ice type, it's about the fact that Dragon is super effective against Dragon.

Little z continuously makes characters types they shouldn't be while being completely confident about bad reasoning. Then puts ness, a literal psychic child, into the psychic type and it "kinda makes sense"... lol
People are saying Kirby is Normal, which I can see, but in the Kirby lore he is basically positive energy incarnate so Fairy is perfect for him.
I’d say make him dual type Fairy/Normal (kinda like Jigglypuff which makes sense) and then when Kirby uses their copy ability, the Normal type gets replaced with a type most fitting of what he inhaled (unless that most fitting type is Normal, in which he stays the same)

I would say Kirby should be Normal Fairy, not rock. Whatever Kirby consumes replaces the Normal Typing into something else.
HE NEEDED MORE ROCK TYPES
Try get a mod that applies a type to each character, and they do increased/reduced damage for super effective matchups
make it actually be as hellishly strong as pokemon doubling too!

I don't know why they made it sound like something big considering smash already spoiled the existence of someone we in xenoblade fandom come to refer as “7” by making them a spirit

Actually Joker isn't poison type but is a dark type because Eiha and Eigaon are both dark skills. 🤓

Listen a lot of these were reaches but like... you're absolutely right, if I sat down and assigned everyone types, it sure as hell wouldn't be an even split lmao.
The Shulk thing was revealed in Xenoblade 1 though. A remake of that game was released just 2 years ago (and I played it through this year), so not spoiling major plot details would be appreciated. Many people are still getting into the series, especially with the Game of the Year nomination and Smash Bros inclusion. The Xenoblade community tends to be very careful with spoilers (coming up with euphemism like "Seven" or "Catalyst", for example), as old spoilers are still spoilers.
You can make super effective matchups in Smash (kind of).
You get a list of each character and their type (for verification), you each choose your character, and you adjust the balance (that menu that allows you to make some characters more powerful or weaker. I can't remember where it is in-game, though) based off of the matchup.
The fun part about this is that you can run 1 or 2 types per character, since you can go 3 up, or 3 down during the custom balance.
Edit: I want someone to make a mod that replaces Ganon with King Leonidas. Mostly just for the F-tilt.

Obviously only one type is used for each character here, but I could imagine Banjo and Kazooie being Ground/Flying, which is a cool idea.
I think if you were to revise a lot of the characters so they had dual typing (when it makes sense) you could do a second video. That way each type would have a pool of characters that you could choose from, thusly avoiding the lame characters.
Falco being flying is by far the biggest stretch because Z has previously stated that chickens can’t fly

Would love to see a follow-up video where all characters are two types. DK being Fighting/Ground for example, Bayonetta Fairy/Poison, Bowser Fire/Dragon and Palutena Fairy/Flying etc
Would make things more complicated but also more interesting when going for typed teams. Loved the video (and creative idea)!

I'd put piranha plant in poison. Then I'd move Bayo to dark. Turn Dark Pit into Pit and move him to Flying. Put Duck Hunt in Grass

Reasonings:
-Poison cloud is a staple in piranha plant's moveset, only after ptooie
-Bayo has a witchy persona, which fits into dark's theming
-Pit's whole persona is that he can fly but can't read. In my mind anyways lmao. Plus his stages all point him to Fairy or Flying type, and flying is a bit more difficult
-Duck Hunt's entire game takes place in grass or grassy areas. It's a dog, and a duck. Nothing crazy about them, just a normal dog/duck duo. Closest thing to real animals in the game
-G&W has turtle. Water is a bit hard, but fits better than Link
-Link moves to fairy besides Young Link
-Toon Link just fits with the normal vibe. I can't exactly put it into words. Someone help? Y'all know what I mean
Funny enough bayonetta was in a different fighting game before smash and she was poison element in that one. Im assuming little z did not know about that though lmao
Pit would not be flying, Fairy / Fighting would work far better. The whole point of the game is that he is a flightless angel, it us why he was spared by Medusa in the first game because she could not see him as a threat. Palutena (his goddess) is the one who grants him the power to fly, but only for 5 minutes at a time. I also say fighting due to him being a master of many varied weapon types, and being the captain of Palu's guard. I hope this clears any misconception!

Here’s a reason Rosalina is psychic; she’s space themed (obviously) and other space themed Pokémon are psychic type like Deoxys, Starmie and Staryu, and then there are some alien Pokémon like the Elgyem line that are also psychic
