Once I started fasting I haven't had a problem with digestion! I also started eating animal fat, avoided it for so many years. I am doing one meal a day (OMAD) and eating mostly fish & beef & eggs/butter. Once I start eating a cup of fruit with some cassava chips which I love... I stop losing weight and I feel bloated :(.....so 4 times a week I am sticking to the OMAD meat, fat, butter....and it is working!

I don't know what I would have done without hcl. It saved me and many others I know until proper digestion and absorption could be achieved. Sometimes you just need something to help you get from point A to point B. We know there are so many different factors involved with sluggish digestion, like hormones and infections. I will definitely never stop recommending the temporary use of hcl.

Agreed. I don't see the difference between supplementing with lemon, ACV, or bitter vs HCL. I went carnivore which requires more stomach acid, while I was dealing with hypothyroidism and perimenopause (both reduce stomach acid) also dealing with hiatal Hernia and Gastroparesis (slow stomach emptying). Had it not been for discovering HCL I would have had to stop carnivore, a diet that helped reverse perimenopause by raising estrogen and has reduced the thyroid peroxidase antibodies on the road to heal my thyroid once and for all (after years of not being diagnosed for hashimoto).
Also, never drink ice water and cooked all my meals fresh from whole, still had stomach issues until HCL came along.

I always FAST with electrolytes and B vitamins and that makex fasting a piece of cake with no adverse side effects, plus I am able to exercise better in a fasted state with my electrolytes and B vitamins.
    16 hrs IF daily + 1 day/week OMAD with 20hr fast + a 24hr water fast with electrolytes once a month.
With Electrolytes + B vitamins and ocassionally taurine/glycine, I am able to excersise for upto 2-3 hrs in fasted state without loss of energy. No cramps, no fatigue, no hedaches, no constipation, no drop/increase in blood sugar or blood pressure.
Not only that , electrolytes enable me to get some Sun bcoz even if I sweat or unrinate...there is no adverse impact.
I know someone who tried prolonged water only fasting without B vitamins and electrolytes for 7 days and got cardiac arrest !

I am trying to help my sweetheart get of his acid reducing medication he said he has been using it for many years! He's also working at reducing his coffee consumption. He now uses raw ACV daily. He said the one that works best for him has cayenne pepper and honey in it, he doesn't enjoy the taste of it though. The brand is Braggs. I remind him to use it before meals. He loves unsweetened lemon and / or lime water too, but that's normally a cold drink. I shared this video with him. Thanks, Doc. 😉

I’ve been taking the betaine HCl because I have gall sludge call stones. So I’ve been trying to get the bio flowing so I take the HCl to get the digestion started in the certify, my food, and then couple hours afterwards I take your ox bile or Tudca. So far I haven’t had any more gall stones, and my gallbladder doesn’t even hurt anymore! It was hurting when I even like bent over, and I’ve been pulling a lot of weeds, so I was really in a lot of pain.
Also, realizing the importance of insulin levels, digestion, and your gallbladder! Never knew how much those were connected .

I have been taking the histamine block supplement for more than a year and I LOVE it! It definitely helps me digesting foods way better and I am eternally grateful for this supplement.
I have a very sensitive digestion, I get bloated very easily with almost everything I eat. I am very acidic very often, and it burns so badly that vomit very often. I eat VERY healthy too, no dairy, gluten, grains. I was taking lansoprazole and I did feel a difference the first couple days and the burning stopped, but after that I felt bad again, and the bloating got even worse. I am in a point that I truly dont know what to do anymore. What would you recommend me?
Thank you ! And thank you for creating amazing products 🙏🏼

bitter is good for the liver... but what about bitters in pill form ?
I live in Thailand and here we have Andrographis (king of bitters) but anybody would vomit to open a capsule and put on the tongue, so hence the capsule ...

Question: How you get rid of gall stones & how do you tell what they are made of if they are not removed? I am trying avoid gall bladder surgery. My diet is 4x a wk OMAD and mostly primal. I had an ultrasound and they found two large ones. I didn't know I had. I am worried they might move and block ducts. For now having just a slight indigestion after eating. Appreciate your wisdom and find you most endearing. Good people are out there and I think your one of them!!!

There’s something called stone breaker on Amazon that might help you, otherwise look up a gallbladder flush… there’s a company called global healing that has a protocol and some supplements to support it that I’ve used, livatrex* and mag20 I believe… I didn’t do the diet because I agree that plant matter isn’t very healthy… I took those two supplements for days ahead of the flush and then on the day of the flush you drink a cup of olive oil(California olive ranch is real) and one cup of grapefruit juice, then lay on your left side a while and then sleep for the night… you’ll start passing the stones…

I am 35. Active and healthy, aside from anxiety and panic disorder since age 17. Six pregnancies, my gallbladder quit. Removed last year. This week, stool is BRIGHT GREEN. Heartburn, belching. Could this be candida? No vomiting or nausea...just IBS symptoms. We are plant based.

What has helped me tremendously with Panic anxiety is vitamin B1and the family of the B vitamins.

Bright green stool is indicative of bile. Consider Ox Bile - it may help you immensely: www.seekinghealth.com/products/ox-bile-120-capsules Take 1 capsule with a meal. Read the reviews. Some people do better with more than 1 capsule - but try 1 to start. In terms of anxiety, I just did a video about this. Consider Lithium Orotate - 1 capsule - when feeling anxious or panicky. Do not take it if on psychiatric meds without talking with your doctor first. www.seekinghealth.com/products/lithium-orotate-100-capsules

@@DrBenLynch why do you recommend adding ox bile to bile malabsorption? Won't it make it worse?

What would you tell someone who started eating healthy and organic and now cannot seem to hold in their flatulence? And their flatulence is very smelly. What would you say is causing this?

Disappointing right? Doing the right thing, but having negative results. Look to the book for an answer....perhaps a Histamine issue?

@ Lacy, you may not be producing enough digestive enzymes. You can try taking a wide spectrum digestive enzyme about 15 minutes before you eat and see if you notice improvements.

What’s ‘healthy’ raw broccoli? Cabbage? Kale? Those aren’t really healthy, hence the gastrointestinal distress… meat doesn’t make people gassy though…

    • @DrBenLynch
      @DrBenLynch  4 ปีที่แล้ว

Hi Teri - if having gastritis, I don't recommend using any of these. First, you need to heal your digestive tract. Consider Optimal GI and take in morning upon waking and again before bed. The nutrients here help heal and soothe your internal linings and heal up that inflammation. www.seekinghealth.com/collections/gut-health/products/optimal-gi-300-capsules
