Wow many thanks for the mention about the wiring👍🏻👍🏻 I like the new lights you have fitted to the grill look very smart. Love the detailed videos you have done over the past week, Keep up the great work, and here's hoping we get some good dry weather soon! As I'm in the same boat as you I need to sort my leaking roof out, at the moment when it rains I have a cover over the D2 held down in all 4 corners and then a loop of elastic going under and over near rear doors so it doesn't blow away 😂😂
Clever cover idea, I might look into that. The problem with covers is once the damp gets in, it stays in. Out in the fresh air is sometimes best, but wrong at the same time!
Great video love the light's please don't get rid of jugs he is worth looking out for I think you should sort the sunroofs and screen seals out as they say mate best the devil you know I only got rid of betsy 6 weeks ago and I miss her like mad love the l322 but it just doesn't have the charm and sense of humour as the d2. Chas. 👍
Evening Derek Interesting & informative as always mixed with your wit. Did I miss the new LED light turn on? Stay lucky. Stay safe. Stay healthy. Alan L200
Hi Alan! No, you did not miss the light turn on. I checked them like you do, but in the sunlight you could not see them! I'll do a piccy when it gets darker.
Do you think I’d be able to fit a 2003-2004 grill in my 2000 TD5? They are different, but maybe I can make a few adaptations- reason- on a budget and have a2003 grill and can’t find a 2000 grill. Thanks
Good question. I don't know 'cos I have not tried it. But I would say with a bit of cally fudging everything would fit eventually. You might have to switch to the new style headlights as well, but then that would mean buying headlight units. Hm, not sure. Best I can suggest is to try it, and if it does not work, wait until an older grille turns up.

👍
I wondered if you would miss Betsy! Plenty to laugh about with a D2! That L322 will become a character eventually.
Thanks for the mention. Wow. Didn't think my wiring was that tidy tbh. I usually hide them behind something!
You are welcome! Tidy wiring is not my strongpoint!
