Hi I just got the monitor, is very very dim. Brightness and contracts is 100 and bi is greyed out. On pc or console Same issue. No hdr is on and very very dim. Please help.
Warning for those who are planning to buy this monitor for HDR (basic HDR) viewing purposes better stay away with 27” model becoz benq has done some nasty job with this model they have removed local dimming support when u turn ON VRR which is not a same case in 32” version. Even basic HDR 400 monitor does better job. Paying such a premium price no local dimming is a huge letdown!! Even cheaper 500$ models does provide u better HDR than this shit.
@@bluecali4na Hey, I got this monitor (EX2710U). Wow! It is incredible; it has 163 DPI (pixels per inch), and the text clarity is super! The Sony M9 has the same 163 DPI, but BenQ is better, in my opinion. I love the speakers, design, built quality, colour accuracy, built-in microphone, and better height, tilt, and swivel adjustments. I am using it with my Macbook 14” (DP port) (also w/ console). So I can assure you that text clarity is perfect. Before, I had the BenQ EX3210R (1440p 165hz), but the text clarity was awful. I couldn’t work with that monitor. I ended up returning it and found out that monitor only had 92 DPI, and for that reason, the text clarity was terrible. Due to its high pixel density 163 DPI, the EX2710U has fantastic text clarity. Don’t go above - 32” (EX3210U). It has a lower DPI, something around 138 DPI, and may not be sharp as the 27” model.
I am using this monitor only connected to my PS5 and when I open a game the monitor turns the screen black for a few seconds and then opens the game. When I played on TV that didn't happen so I don't know if it is normal. Also, when I turn off or put the play in sleep mode, the monitor turns the screen black for a few seconds and then the screen appears for a moment and then turns off, it doesn't look strange, someone please help me
i cant stant a glary screen. Please show me where these glossy gaming monitors are. I havent seen on in over 20 years. This sounds snarky but serious show me one from an establish company.
Is there any backlight bleeding, because the LG, Model “27GP950-B” has backlight bleeding. It’s not a huge deal, because my old Asus, Model “VG248QE” has a bit of backlight bleeding, but I never paid it much attention. I’m trying to decide if I should go with this over the LG, because it has a speaker (not that amazing, I know), better bit, and more features, but the LG is $200 cheaper. Was thinking of waiting until Black Friday to get it.
Don’t go lg. it has intermittent black screening issues. Mine did, I sent it in for repair, it came back still brown and LG told me I had to go through THREE repairs before exchanging it or getting a refund. Customer service and product sucks. My aunt has an LG fridge and they rapiers the water system in twice and it’s still broken. Stay far away from LG
Also the organic stuff in OLED does degrade over time, especially the blue. The colors sure does pop, and the blacks are still unmatched, but at what cost?
I have the same monitor, it is so BAD, the colors are not worth the price of the monitor which is very expensive, they are at best OK. Plus, the speakers are not real, they don't work, no sound at all. Bought on Amazon.

Is there motion blur while playing games at 60hz? Like say for instance NBA 2k or any other sports games.
How is it now? Still worth it?

Did you pay 600€? If not, you bought the simplest version of this series which doesn't have any of the features mentioned here.

I need at least a 32inch version and with full bandwidth HDMI 2.1 which alot of these so called 4k Gaming monitors don't have
the 32 inch version of this model has exactly what you want lol.
