I’m all by myself in my room right now and can’t control my tears roll down my cheeks watching and listening to this version of theirs, so amazingly awesome...and the reason why I say this, first, I’m a filipino musician, too, for the past 50 years, I’m 67 now and just like these kids, never had a formal musical education, you know how hard is that and to later on perform professionally in front of thousands of spectators around the world, beside the fact, pronounce english words like a local speaker of the language, isn’t that so amazing? Yes, this is not the original which is one of my all time favorites by my all time favorite band. I think they catch the spirit of the original very well, but is more laid back - less immediately present in the California desert, but makes a real connection to the music and is, as I think all covers should be - respectful of the original. I found the lead singers fingerings striking and satisfying in a fresh way and he certainly caught the strained aspect of the vocal very well while making it his own. Good stuff. Thanks Reo Brothers.

Yes he did a good job, but keep in mind the Don Henley sings whilst playing the drums. Drummers that do lead vocals and keep in perfect time, I think are at a different level than guitarists.

Shit man. These guys are amazing. They’re so young too. Nothing sloppy about their playing at all. Very tightly in sync and tune with each other. Many people out there who call themselves cover bands and have the nerve to put out crap and call them covers need to learn from these guys and be ashamed cuz they fucking suck. These guys are really good. Great job guys.

Yes, this is not the original which is one of my all time favorites by my all time favorite band. I think they catch the spirit of the original very well, but is more laid back - less immediately present in the California desert, but makes a real connection to the music and is, as I think all covers should be - respectful of the original. I found the lead singers fingerings striking and satisfying in a fresh way and he certainly caught the strained aspect of the vocal very well while making it his own. Good stuff. Thanks Reo Brothers.

And,let us NOT FORGET ABOUT MARK on the BONGOS!! EXCELLENT JOB MARK!! I can't imagine staying on beat to a song that we all know the words to. I know that I personally have my own way of playing the drums(on whatever is available like my lap...or CAT!) But seriously, Mark has come a long way!

Very good even if I don't understand the words. I was in the Philippines before these kids were even born. The Philippines is FULL OF VERY TALENTED MUSICIANS.
Yes he did a good job, but keep in mind the Don Henley sings whilst playing the drums. Drummers that do lead vocals and keep in perfect time, I think are at a different level than guitarists.
