The things I learn because of Joe Rogan's podcast lmao
How to be a midget sodemite???
Lol that’s how I got here
Lmao
Just watched it lol now im here
Same 😂
Filmed on a AC-130 like seriously it looks like a Call of Duty mission😂😂
That's computer generated. The original footage was filmed years ago by David Attenborogh. BBC doing what they do best: recycling old content to make it seem new in order to make up for their absence of creativity.
I think the thermal imagery is faked. Thermal cannot see through a tree canopy.
Damn the fact they all have given rolls in the hunt and can set a plan up between its members, then even when the plan goes wrong they can work with a plan B is amazing and the similarities between human thinking and planning and what these apes do are very similar and we probably got that ability from our common ancestor which is why we both have it
Data shown here is actually very bad AI!(at least when they show positions from above) Having these roles is actual a hypothesis that boesch proposes but is not actually proven!
Brains, the most terrifying weapon nature has created.
And a weapon every single predator uses to full advantage.
***** No animal actually is archaic.
***** Yes.
Archaic means primitive, not ancient.
Being from the distant past does not mean it's less intelligent.
Brain size does not indicate intelligence or a lack of it.
Second to no brains
The Irish accent of the narrator describing each team member’s roles and the camera overlay gives this the feeling of a rugby rundown. 😂
That's a Scottish accent.
ah 240p, we meet again
this is lutenent chicken in sending an airdrip of 1080p
This documentary is evidence of excellence. The animations, the low camera running thru the trees, the close-ups of the members of the strike team, this is fantastic photography. It teaches us by examples, how we should make videos.
The aerial display was super nice. I've seen videos and descriptions of how they hunt before but seeing it in action from a different point of view really tied it all together
Oh my god. This is like a Bourne movie. Amazing.
joe rogan brought me here
haha me too...
Me 3 lol
he made another video on it 4 hours ago... how tf
The monkey doesn’t get pulled apart in this video though so I’m wondering which video he’s talking about.
ReactionHere The fact that this comment is 4 years old yet im here from a video from a week ago is crazy
0:56 look at that dudes face . He is on a mission.
🤣🤣🤣🤣 SO TRUE.!!! DUDE LOOKS READY TO DIE FOR HIS FOOD.
Jihad
drum n bass in my documentary? awesome
Well this documentary is awesome
Scottish - it's John Hannah doing the narration. This clip came from a BBC series called 'Predators' - awesome series, by the way - and it was in the last episode which was about predators who teach hunting techniques to their offspring. The same episode featured Orcas learning how to 'beach' themselves when hunting seals, and kittens learning to hunt by playing.
This is another clip from the same series, but a different episode (the narration will still sound familiar) - watch?v=cQoPlwAJIeo
Someone has to have said it already but "Damn nature, you scary!"
I feel empathy toward the colobus monkeys, especially the one who had the misfortune to be caught, as he/she will literally be ripped apart, limb by limb, and consumed by his/her captors. Their shrieks are so primal and vehement that it cannot but give rise to strong emotion. But empathy aside, it was fascinating to see how well coordinated the chimpanzee hunting party was, each with a clearly defined role, all working in concert to catch and kill their prey of choice. That kind of social interaction, along with forethought and anticipation of the probable actions of the colobus monkeys, their stealth, their patience, all smack of high intelligence, powerful memory, and quite a deep understanding of the world, of themselves, of others, of cause and effect, and the inter-relationships between and amongst different objects, organisms, and entities.
Based on what I have seen what chimps can do to animals and humans alike, I don't like these f***ers....
I have an understanding that wild animals must eat. The problem is, because these creatures seem to think on almost a human level, it brings an emotion, like you spoke of. And it is not positive. Unlike other primates which I find fascinating, Chimps are an animal I don't like..
The issue is not creating the net but avoiding it. Show me that animal and maybe ill say it has some brain power. Till then, fire up the barbi
@@DangerousDevilOfficial they are just animals and aren't human. They kill because they were made to and are innocent. Just don't go into their jungle or their zoo enclosure. :) You'll never make it out alive.
Creole Queen of New Orleans I have no plans to. After watching Tiger King, I would rather take my chances with Lions!
@@DangerousDevilOfficial it's crazy you say that, lol. I think about that all the time like if I had to choose to be thrown in a cage of 10 lions or 10 chimpanzees which would I choose and I would hands down go with lions, lol. Death by chimps is just way too violent!! The lions would kill you too but if they weren't hungry wouldn't bother you too much. The chimps would tear you up just for fun though. Kill you dead. Yikes!

Chimps: "Wallfire, we are moving up the forest towards the territory to the east. Confirm you have a visual on us."
Humans: "Good eyes on friendlies."
WOOOOW.... I was speechless watching this hunt! Absolutely amazing how they all know what to do, where to go, and when to act, all in harmony with each other! And how to think on the go to in case something unplanned happens, like it did in this video... that's the most amazing thing of all!
I love the jungle music playing.
D'n'b really
Firestarter (instrumental)keith flint prodigy
Its sad but I never get tired of watching this and other animals hunting because it really shows how smart animals are not just humans when it come to how to kill. And the thought process that goes into this.
Excellent camera work! Pitty we couldn't see the catch, but seeing the coordination was brilliant! Thank you
Somehow it's always been my dream to see Techno D'n'B music, aerial thermal vision and chimps in one video.
Vegans: All apes are vegetarians! Eating meat is unnatural!
Chimps: Hold my hunting squad.
This is an awesome video!!!
Awesome job!
that's pretty awesome drum and bass beats in the backgound
Best soundtrack possible for this situation.
That was probably the coolest video I've seen today.
Wow..That video and the accent of the narration.... +100000
Awesome catch up, thanks
POWERFUL JRE TH-cam CANT STOP ME
the driver
the blockers and
the ambusher
you gotta love that
hahaha i love the fast paced action music during the hunt, makes it so much more intense
I didn't know there were so many trees in Chicago.
Lol I'm black but I'll let at slide
This was absolutly brilliant
this is amazing, I love the tune too phat!!!
joe rogan got me here 🤣
lovin the drum n bass!
Wow, the beauty and nature that come from this video was astonishing. I never knew that chimpanzee's had those smarts and sharp of a mentality to hunt in these ways.
this is fascinating... this is some serious problem solving
wow, this is amazing, whats also amazing is how the managed to get all that in camera
They climb up those trees like I walk or run with total ease
this is the greatest strategic ambush in the wild i've ever seen
Good vid, serious rollin jungle music-love it :-)
Special thanks to keith flint for providing the soundtrack for this clip.
この映像何度も観てますがセンサー付きの動画観たの初めてです。すごい!フォーメーションまでばっちり映ってて参考になりました。ありがとう
Truly fascinating!
Thankyou Joe..
Lots of location scouting. Lots of high-tech cameras. Lots and lots of waiting. Lots of clever editing.
wow this is absolutely crazy
I love how absolutely NO voice actors for nature shows have American accents.
This is amazing!
that IR footage is what makes it so real. meaning that the narrator explaining in detail everything that's happening is excellent but it doesn't give you the whole picture. video showing much of the attack is great but you really good too but that's not everything' when you have the actual IR footage playing with the narrators play by play is amazing. telling us how/where/what but seeing that IR footage and narrator aaahhh narrating makes it look like an actual military skirmish. explaining how the blockers set up to flank. chasers flushing the enemy/dinner into a trap'. i figured out which ones were the Beaters'. i know the Keeper. i have no idea which one was the keeper though.
Beautiful video.
LoL! They are playing drum and bass to the hunt!
Thermal video shots are awesome!
That overhead thing is just computer generated I assume....?
nice team work
CCCCCCCCCCCCOMBO BREAKER!
Man this was 12 years ago
This is horrifying, terrifying, amazing, and wonderful all at the same time.
Exactly, you should play Jungle because that's more like their habitat.
This is raw footage from Ferguson, Missouri after the Michael Brown shooting. LOL
Yep
i see you people everywhere commenting like this, question are you shills forming an agenda?
I like the AC130 vision
its a Edinburgh accent, problem with regular American accents is they are too nasal for English producers. Although the nasality can be reduced thru training.
They sure gave that colobus the Banana Slamma didn't they?
This is not instinct, that is intelligence
does anyone know if that is the lovely james macavoy narrating?
"ve may have lost ze battle, but not ze war"
Hi everyone, does anyone remember the name of the actual show this clip was featured from? I think I remember there being other animals featured. Thank you
what I want to know is how do the camera men get these shots... its cray.
Amazing video
What an intelligence
bloody amazing we really underestimate animals
this was filmed on my nintendo 3ds xl
@Ichigen003 Wise words, there needs to be this voice in every silly argument
Night vision was so bogus
The narrator sounds a lot like Peregrin Took from The Lord of the Rings lol
these guys robbed a bank the other week, it was in the news
imagine these guys playing a FPS game lol they would dominate with these kinds of tactics
John Madden: Now that's just great defense. You got your blocker right here, he cut off the runners path and then BOOM!
purely amazing!
@physicsbugga Thank you! I've been trying to say that for years, but haven't found the best way to put it.
This is every Friday night at Denny's.
I didn't know they eat monkies or even flesh at all. This explains a lot.
commercials are crap
that was like the rainbow 6 made of chimps, fucking epic! lol
i would never have one as a pet , or allow any neighbor in a wide radius to have one.
Ohh it's so cute , almost like human , it'll sit and hang out, and look chimpy is smiling at us , it loves us - CHOMP
"Meats on the menu tonight, boys!"
LOOKS LIKE MEAT IS BACK ON THE MENU BOYS
@grip31gangsta animated? yes. but isn't it more telling that the camera crew don't show up on the infrared.
I'm so glad the whole Chuck Norris thing isn't working here...chimps are absolutely terrifying.
@ishigum:
LMAO! Now that's what I call a 'snot-bubbler.'
chmips are strong and smart. didn't know they ate meat and hunted like that. amazing.
Hah, we have won. Your service is appreciated.
"Another misconception is that eating predigested proteins saves the body from having to digest proteins and keeps the digestive system from "overworking." Such a belief grossly underestimates the body's abilities. As a matter of fact, the digestive system handles whole proteins better than predigested ones because it dismantles and absorbs the AAs at rates that are optimal for the body's use. Understanding Nutrition 9th edition, Whitney & Rolfes, 2002.
Cooking denatures fat/protein/kills fiber
That's not CGI... I guess you are not going to teach BBC how to use infrared cameras...
Killer Instinct was an awesome game.
They must have some way of discussing what the plan is and deciding who is going to play what role.
Now this is what I call guerrilla tactics!
Cant help but think that those Infrared images were CGI
Thanks for the knowledge Shrek
Whoa..this video is awesome :O
