We need more conversation from 700 club on this topic, as this is sometimes hard to do! It also depends on your age as to how you experience people around you, and how to be Christian all the time... what would be interesting is if 700 club would get different people of different races and ages to talk about how they deal with this subject... what about how can we Christians deal with rejection, being left out, this kind of thing that happens to us? That would all be well worth watching! Thank you guys for the 700 club!!

When you have a Biblical perspective of the world and the systems of the world (especially as an older Christian) and what it offers, you will immediately want to reject it and you will turn your back on what it has to offer, which is nothing compared to what your Heavenly Father offers🇨🇦

You know exactly what is going on with their body and You are able to bring it back to wholeness and strength. Birds of a feather flock together is true. But if the SEED was set, you will come to God!! When I was young, I wanted to be a Priest. Then puberty hit and I went astray. I sinned badly and came back to the Church!!! Sometimes there are long lessons. He knew us before our Mothers and Fathers knew each other!!!
Wait, what? Maybe I'm wrong, but from what I know of the Robertsons, Pat and Gordon, is that they do not live "in the world but not of the world" moderate ascetic lives! Far from it! As far as I can see, they live in the lap of luxury. Do they live in modest dwellings? wear modest clothing? drive modest vehicles? eat modest fare? fast regularly? I am basing my understanding of "moderate asceticism" on what Max Weber called the "worldly asceticism" of his Protestant Ethic Theory, where one holds his profession to be a religious calling and works hard, but does not buy, nor indulge in, luxuries and worldly pleasures, but rather lives simply and saves and/or invests his expendable income and/or profits in his business. It seems to me that the Robertsons do not do that, but they rather do the exact opposite -- they appear to me to live high off the hog and buy and indulge in luxuries and worldly pleasures, live in mansions, wear fine and expensive clothes, drive expensive vehicles, eat fine fare, etc. Again, I very well could be wrong, but this is what I see. May God forgive me if I'm wrong.
