He discusses the sacrificial practices of their Canaanite and Phoenician neighbors and whether or not this could reflect anything on ancient Israel?
He discusses child sacrifice in ancient Judah during the Iron Age. And also discusses the biblical tradition surrounding the subject talking about for instance the mythic story of Abraham and Isaac and whether or not there was differing opinions on this controversial subject and what was the Old Testament authors trying to convey in their writings on this matter?
