its so funny how so many times before, Colin would always reference Penelope as "such a good friend" and in this episode, SO MANY PPL keep reiterating that same phrase to him and its KILLING HIM😭😭🤭
Not Colin trying to taste Pen's lips by eating the same cake she had. (He bought the same after she left). You can see that in the actual episode when he stands looking at her talking to Dembling. He eats the cake while seeing her. Our boy is hungry for her lips, damn I want a Colin! ❤😂
Colin is a man in search of himself. I think he's always had special feelings for Penelope that went beyond friendship or a familial type of love. But they've known each other since childhood, so he's never really had cause to examine or confront those feelings until now. He's always felt protective of her and would always seek out her company. But it took the kiss to essentially wake him up and make him go, "Whoa! What is this I'm really feeling?" Like you said, he's finally coming to grips with it. LOL Lord Debling was about to get on my bad list, but then he went back for Penelope, so he's on the good list again. lol I'm excited for Violet to get a chance at a (second) love story, but I'm a little nervous, too, since Lady Danbury doesn't seem overly fond of her brother. If they do wind up in a relationship, fingers crossed Lord Anderson is worthy of Violet and won't end up breaking her heart.
Right they all just left Penelope I was about to be mad too lol. Yes, I can accept that Colin is growing in love with Penelope. I was very skeptical with him at first. I think Violet just wants some... lovin. I don't think she's looking for ACTUALLY love.
I could see Marcus catching more feelings and Violet letting him down as gently as she can, maybe she’s a love match for him, but he isn’t quite for her, but they can still be friends (with benefits?) I think they won’t have a hard time getting into bed but Violet’s gonna have a lot more feelings to unpack as a woman/mother/widow who has only ever loved and been with one man. Marcus has played the opposite side of that world as a man, having flings and marrying for convenience, even if he grew to be fond of his wife and is sorry she died. He’s bound to be much less cautious in giving away his heart than Violet.
Your reaction to the Polin dream kiss was me exactly. I am loving all your reactions it's like I'm watching myself watch the show. Loving your reviews!
They need to start building up Francesca's story this season. Her own story is later on and difficult, but lovely, my favorite book of the series. Could write more, but would be spoilers, although there are enough already floating through the Internet.
Each book focuses on a different sibling, but sometimes events in one book take place concurrently with events in another book so some overlap on the show is probably an inevitability, since they aren't going to just do one story and then go back to a different POV for the same time period.
Francesca wouldn't have to get married if she didn't want to; she just doesn't think that everyone has to be the way her married siblings are. She is a quiet person in a boisterous household.
Friends to lovers is a common romance trope (and also something that happens in real life). I like it better than love at first sight. This is more like "best friend's brother" in some ways, depending on how much you feel they've built up the friendship with Colin. If somebody did to me what Penelope did to Eloise, I don't think I'd ever want to be close friends with her again, but this is a show, and they will get back together at some point.
The actress who plays Prudence (the tall sister), Bessie Carter, is the daughter of Jim Carter, who plays the butler, Carson, on _Downton Abbey,_ and Imelda Staunton, who played Umbridge in Harry Potter and one of the versions of Queen Elizabeth II on _The Crown._ In the movie _Shakespeare in Love,_ he played an actor playing the nurse in a production of "Romeo and Juliet," and she played a nurse.

27:25 it's funny that you say that penalty has a couple of the top guys after her. Because people don't generally love calling. They just like who he's been pretending to be this season. And her the queen, not everyone loves Lord Debling. But he has money. (I don't really remember how Colin planned on supporting Marina if they got married. Does he have an independent source of income?)
Yea, I've seen a bit where people don't like Colin. In my first 2 reactions I talk about not liking Colin. But within the show I think he's pretty desired by the girls. Lord debling yea he might not be as desirable.

Haha he got what he asked for and then he got mad. Lol.

Omg!!! I didn't even realize that! Now I have to rewatch... for research purposes

@@ReactandRoamwithKayla Good point about Violet. You're probably right. LOL

This guy: I want eight children.
Francesca: See you.
Violet had eight children, but Francesca is not following in those footsteps.
My favorite character is Lady Featherington. She is a great actress. She displays all the emotions.
She's great! I'm also watching this show called rome and she's in it as well. She's great!
She was Jane Fairfax in the 1996 _Emma_ with Gwyneth Paltrow. A very ladylike character.

Ok. I am still waiting for her story to develop. I like where it's going

You see elderly Farmer George in Season 2. He has an episode and Edwina calms him down.

The Bridgerton family is very wealthy, and the children are provided for via allowances and inheritances.

Kayla is Bridgerton one of your favorite shows?
Yes! One of my favorite shows from the past few years.
