People complaining about the sex scene being ‘too much’ were the first ones to complain that there wasn’t enough in S2, that Kate & Anthony’s wasn’t detailed or overt enough, and also that you wanted more steamy scenes this season and feel short-changed. In my opinion Eloise is just trying to protect her family. Yes, she is self centered in not realizing Penelope has feelings for Colin. But Lady Whistledown humiliated Colin. Yes, she tried to protect Colin and Eloise from themselves but she also did this for money. In looking to have her own income Pen has proven to be very much like her mother, sensible. Penelope is very lucky to have love and financial security. I also must admit, to me, Penelope is brave. How many of us use our passions/ gifts instead of doing only the expected.
I read somewhere that some people consider "Allowing Them Their Space" an unofficial extra Love Language and I'm like "that's mine!" And also maybe Francesca's. Let the introverts REST.
