he sounds like he's really content with being a regular guy with a regular job instead of being in the industry. Despite what anybody has to sayabout there being bad blood between the guys, I really think that if Woody wanted to come back tomorrow they would make space for him in Dru Hill, even though they have a new set of guys. As a fan, I love the original formula...but I respect the fact that people in the entertainment industry are regular people too...Woody seems like he's seen what's out there, saw what it was like, and just decided to walk away from it. We all think we want fame until we actually get it.

I just recently discovered dru hill. I was to young to know of them in their hey day, but after listening to their music and interviews it's good to hear Woody side of their story. And I can see what he saying woody didn't get alot of solo singing parts in the music. Appreciate the transparency with him
Woody seems like he holds a lot of grudges. Harbors on things. The thing is Woody we all liked you too. We all saw you too. There was a recipe for the original members and Woody made up that recipe too. If if anything you should feel blessed you got the opportunity to touch many people all around the world. People actually would still love to see him in the group but it is what it is.

I think that he came from an overly religious background and his family made him feel like it was a sinner for singing what they considered, the devil music or the "BLUES." my family tried that crap with me too. I am not here whining. I keep it moving and I am grateful for the successes in my life. I count it all good not bad. I think women are stronger than some of these men in today's society. The record label didn't want Sisqo to have blonde hair and they made him dye it black. But right before they shot the video for tell me he went in the bathroom and bleached it back. Some things Woody could have tried to stand up for himself for. Like all the times that he wanted to quit the group but couldn't because everybody would be so happy to see him when he showed up. He said it himself that he was soft.

Trauma can make anybody not want to relive an event that almost destroyed them. Trauma can happen in may ways, and is a real thing. Being bullied, for example, can be traumatising. But sometimes it's how we over come and are able minimise the AFFECT of that trauma within that truly moves us forward to enjoy the gifts of life once again. Some people can make it through, others can be so traumatised by an event that they never get past the internal disturbance, and the affects that that trauma caused them.
That was pretty cool when woody got up on stage! Hope in the future things change and woody rejoins the group! I can wish tho!
