Great to hear Woody speak and shed light on how things went down. Angel remains one of my favourite songs and for that I'll always keep my eye out for material he releases.
Here's a man who has felt under valued. When in actual fact he has much value. But if he doesn't feel that way about himself, then others won't know how to express the value they hold towards him. I wish he had more courage when he was in Dru Hill - coz he was actually one of my favourites outside of Sisqo's lead vocals. Woody was a good looking brother who you would take home to your mother. So sweet. Xx

So happy that God's purpose has been fulfilled in your lofe,the music. Even if the challenges to releasing your gospel album was there. The numbers of supporters& lack of marketing, distribution& promotion, God has been Faithful&good to you. Even when the church did not fully embrace you after leaving the secular world. God's word on your life&purpose never returned to Him void. Just keep your focus on your God coz he Called you¬ man or the church. God bless you. You are kept& loved by the Most High! Respect!

So...God told you if you go Solo you would be good...you went Solo but still had issues....seems to me...its YOU!...Dude seem bitter, he felt he wasn't getting the attention he wanted...so he isolated himself from the group.

Facts:
His claim to fame is from the group.
When he left the group (as God guided him) for a solo/gospel career...he never measured up in comparison with his time with the group.
Sisqo was able to egual the groups fame as a solo artist. You can book Sisqo alone any time of the week and people will be singing along. Woody has not accomplished that....!
My point is....people claim their failure on God directing them but can't show what God has provided for them in making the decision...so we blame...."the industry" or conspiracy stories. Shout out to all the group members including Woody...once you are content with self...nothing beats that but dont make excuses.

@@chadbutler8634 If you listen carefully...Woody as pointed out all the things that he had issues with....he has mentioned repeatedly how he was treated in comparison to other members. I'm not saying he holds a grudge then or today...but highlighting that he was never a team player in the group and when he was on his solo tip...THERE WAS STILL ISSUES. HE STATED CHURCH WAS CALLING HIM...SO, SHOULDN'T THINGS BE BETTER FOR HIM???...HENCE, MY OPINION THAT 'HE' IS THE PROBLEM. (caps didn't mean i was shouting...just emphasizing my point)
