Big real estate development requires access to low rates which is a thing of the past. The reason is that everything is over extended and there will be reversion to the long term mean where 7% rates are required to tame inflation. The only alternative is hyperinflation which would ultimately create a depression and everything goes for 10 cents on the dollar.
I wouldn’t say it is a requirement because funding for development can be acquired in many different ways. Low rates definitely helps speed up development though with easier access to capital.
Thanks, Nick. I think you are spot on with what it will take for TC to flourish, and it truly does have all of the amenities for a super elite destination. I have been all around the world, and you are correct about it being the prettiest beach on Earth. I thank the heavens that I got to enjoy the place when it was very sparsely populated, and still under British rule. I appreciate the updates!
Thanks Nick, I think you're being realistic. It'll be a long road back. Can you highlight what retail shops are open in TC? Anything open besides the general store?
What about the sewer and water system?
It is functional

Thanks for the update. I miss that place.
She'll be back!

She will be back but she will never be back like she was which is so so sad :(

Yes. Right now there is Florence's bakery, the mini-mart, and a liquor store. The Bahama Beach Club restaurant and bar are open too.
