- A quick update on the status of everything here at Treasure Cay in The Abacos, The Bahamas. I want to reiterate and be very clear that I am not associated with Ed Burr, Greenpointe Holdings, or Treasure Cay Limited. Everything expressed in the video is just what people are people are telling me is going on and what I see from being boots on the ground over here. I am extremely passionate about Treasure Cay and The Abacos as a whole so I enjoy being a resource for all things Treasure Cay. I am hoping to have some more updates for everyone in the near future as things start happening, assuming that the Mirko Kovats lawsuit does not hinder the progress.

What concerns me the most as a annual visitor of the past 14 yrs is this: how private will TC actually be? If totally private, I will not return ever again. It’s too bad…

Hi Nick. Me again. A friend is wanting to relocate to Abacos with his Lagoon cat, wanting to do occasional charters, like sensets. Is it too soon to set up at Teeasure? Is Marsh or Hope Town open to this type of thing? Thanks and great job, as always.

How much might the property sell for??Is this tens of millions or hundreds of millions. Last time I was in Exumas locals were protesting the start of Bakers Bay.
Sounds like the new deal went thru Wed, Sept 11, 2024….according to the Prime Minister.
The deal has not closed yet. They finished everything on the government side of things, but the sale with the Meisters still has not closed.
@@NickOlinde well, at least some things look positive for TC. I really miss Ocean Villas where we stayed each year in March for a month. Keep updating as much as you can….and thanks!

@@NickOlinde I guess all we have to do is look at abaco club, Chubb, bakers as a template. Main difference is there are existing residents versus starting from scratch. I loved treasure, stayed at into the blue a few times, going to miss the low key vibe.
I completely agree if it goes that way, sadly. However, I am holding out hope that it does not become something like that..
