In round numbers how much land does the sale include ? How much might the property sell for??Is this tens of millions or hundreds of millions. Last time I was in Exumas locals were protesting the start of Bakers Bay.
Treasure Cay LTD owns several hundred acres on Treasure. Private home owners and a couple condo developers own the rest of the land. It is selling in the tens of millions, definitely not hundreds of millions. The rebuild is absolutely going to cost hundreds of millions, however. And The Abacos, not The Exumas. I remember that time greatly.
Hi Nick. Me again. A friend is wanting to relocate to Abacos with his Lagoon cat, wanting to do occasional charters, like sensets. Is it too soon to set up at Teeasure? Is Marsh or Hope Town open to this type of thing? Thanks and great job, as always.
@@NickOlinde We Loved it! Ate at the Beach Club a lot and Sunset Pizza (Best Stuff Jalapeños)! Made the drive to Cherokee to see the Dock. That was an interesting drive. We left our hearts there! Planning another trip October/November!
@@OceanLife772 I am glad to hear that! I agree about the stuffed jalapenos! Sunset Pizza has been an amazing addition to the community! Cherokee is a cool place to check out but it is definitely a hike. Let me know if yall end up going again. I am always back and forth and if our dates match up we will have to meet
What concerns me the most as a annual visitor of the past 14 yrs is this: how private will TC actually be? If totally private, I will not return ever again. It’s too bad…
Thanks for the update,I enjoyed it, I'm planning to come to Treasure Cay Mid December for 10 days with 3 college boys . I wanted to get them PADI scuba certification while there. We are staying at Bahama Beach Club. Any help on where is best simplest place to get certified and if anything new since your August tapering. Thanks Mitch
@@NickOlinde well, at least some things look positive for TC. I really miss Ocean Villas where we stayed each year in March for a month. Keep updating as much as you can….and thanks!
@@NickOlinde I guess all we have to do is look at abaco club, Chubb, bakers as a template. Main difference is there are existing residents versus starting from scratch. I loved treasure, stayed at into the blue a few times, going to miss the low key vibe.
Love the updates Nick! Keep em’ coming! Thanks for doing these. Can’t wait to get back to Treasure one of these days.
Hey, Nick, I'm so behind on your videos, (long story), but trying to catch up. Thanks always for your work and informative reviews!
All good! I really appreciate your support!

Hey Nick, Any updates on what is happening with the Sandbank Landing Development ? I am hearing that it was sold ?
We are arriving Wednesday the 28th for 10 days. Will Flo be open in September?
I hope yall enjoyed the trip! I wish i would have seen this comment earlier.

😮tipsy????😢
We NNEEEEDD The Tipsy back!
Sounds like the new deal went thru Wed, Sept 11, 2024….according to the Prime Minister.
The deal has not closed yet. They finished everything on the government side of things, but the sale with the Meisters still has not closed.

@@jeffcarinda1719 I agree! You should definitely come back and make that a tradition again! The Ocean Villas are up and running strong.

I hope to god that doesn’t happen
Amen brother. They want everything for themselves and want to charge everyone more for the privilege they already had
We will see what happens here at Treasure

I completely agree if it goes that way, sadly. However, I am holding out hope that it does not become something like that..
