Do NOT sleep on the spear, it's a pretty awkward saber to use but whenever I run into a spear main that actually knows how to fenangle it they're quite literally untouchable. I've been trying to master it lately and although I would say I'm nowhere near mastering it, I find myself winning way more often than not while using it.

For real, i have 20k kills with default saber, when I used curved i immediately noticed that if I dont perfect block i get bodyhitted often than i should and that i can interrupt more often with it.
tier list is quite solid, with the exception of the tonfa, which was severely underrated. Tonfa overall is generally considered an extremely solid saber, as it has similar performance to form I (arguably the most popular and balanced form) while being extremely easy to yaw with, while also being (slightly) faster. Am well aware that you don't tryhard anywhere as much as some players do, but tonfa is IMO a B tier at least, leaning towards A
I must say dark saber is one of the best weapons. It should be A or S tier. It's defence buff makes it op. My go to weapons are the duals, crossguard, dark saber and the staff. Those are honestly my top 4 and I would recommend saving up for them 4. The tonfa and boomerang are really fun to use as well. The animations for them are unique and it's difficult to tell where the swing is coming from if you are fighting against a tonfa/boomerang user so it's much harder to perfect block.
As a boomerang main that is the best spot for it it is utterly trash when you first use it but when your experienced you are going to demolish and destroy people who team and it is so satisfying to watch the blade go left and right so smoothly(btw I love your saber showdown videos also whip is dookie)
Tonfa is not trash. If you know how to use it, its a killing machine. It is worth every single point and it will never let you down in duels. Out of like the 500 people I killed with it the day I got, only 20 were able to withstand it. So I do highly recommend the tonfa. (PS : This is my opinion)
At the end of the day it depends on skill the standard is single or curved as a skilled duelist and ranked duelists but if your talking about farming this list would be extremely useful. Other than that I will stick with what I have

I have used a backhand ever since i upgraded from normal saber, i just passed 1000 kills and only have 13K and am still using backhand, what do you think i should buy? (Also my strategy is block attack slap or attack block slap or attack slap block or.. Well you get it)
I'd personally go for crossguard, but one is geared for attack style play, whereas the other is more for defence (I can't remember which, but its obvious when u look in the store), so go with the one u think matches ur playstyle
Could you give me some advice what to choose between all 3 S Tier sabers? Like the pros and cons of them and what their playstyle is, I would really appreciate it. Anything would help, even a brief reply.
sry for the delayed response. This vid is kinda old, so now I'd suggest going for crossguard (if ur an attack oriented player) or darksaber (if u play more defensively)

I think that this list is pretty solid for the most part. I totally agree with the fact that the whip is not very good and is trash. But I do have some disagreements, for example, the tonfa. The tonfa was overly underrated and is a generally good weapon. It's form is pretty balanced and you can combo with it pretty nicely (the yawing with it is good as well). In my opinion, it should get at least a B tier, more like an A. I also think the spear was underrated. It is true that the spear got nerfed, but if you know how to use it, it can be pretty overpowered with the range bonus. It is a bit weird to use, but I sometimes run into a person who has the spear as their main, who also knows how to use it. They pretty much become unkillable. I do agree with the nunchucks being lower on the list, since it isn't all that good. But, curved and katana are still decent sabers, and I think they deserve a bit higher on the list. It can be good or bad, but it depends on the form and the way you use it. But overall, they are pretty good for yawing and combos. You were correct in my opinion about the rest though!

Got like 10k kills and i have to say its very risky using an attacking form with crossguard, but if your general blocking is good you can cut down entire crowds
Ps. Tonfa is an amazing saber, I'm not gonna rag on you but the broad swings make it difficult to miss your opponent in close quarters, and not only that, but it is pretty hard to pb against since the swings are unpredictable

Depends on your budget. Ideally sounds like you want regular duals, but if you can't afford that then the single backhand is probs your best bet. I would reccomend getting some decent experience first tho, because without it you won't get the best out of any saber 👍good luck!
Nothing fancy, but the more you play you will pick up tips and understand other players a bit more, so you get more out of any saber you use because you are a better player. Just a side point rly, you go for either of those two sabers and you will start cookin in no time 👍
you kinda underestimated some sabers like spear, black saber, and Tonfa, Tonfa has a ugly look to it and u also understand but it is good now and that the skill that it has. I know im quite late but i have all the sabers apart from the tofna, spear and dual staff but even at almost 4k kills im not really sure what the meta is rn and im not sure what one is should main ( i quite the game for a while)
Its a hard one, because there isn't really a single "meta" saber over found, but personally I like dual sabers, and the common favourite is staff, so if I had to guess I'd go with one of them
When you have 18k you have a choice… become a freaking killing machine or become a massacring machine Black saber can kill most people but form 5 cross guard is just hit and don’t get hit back
They are very different, altho personally i'd go for crossguard or darksaber. If you wanted one of those though, I would say dual staff, as it's good against teamers (its pretty bad 1v1 though...)

Ye, it used to be a lot more common but it got nerfed, so ig there are still a few people knocking around who can use it, but nowhere near as many

curved isn't just cosmetic, it has a different hitbox. It's hard to use bc you have to know how to perfect block but it's broken if you are good

I think tonfa is at least A if not S (as a totally unbiased tonfa main fr) since it is like form 1 but has animation masking and the long jump attack

It is based mostly off skill, but choosing the right saber for your skill level will help you improve no matter what level you are at

Im personally at 18k kos in-game and i prefer curved cause apparently it does better (more clear hits) then normal swords

yeah, I dont think its needed, because the saber already has an attack buff

probably staff. Both the duals are made for light, quick attacks, so staff is probably ur best bet 👍

spear is actually a great weapon that’s because of the stats that it also has and the skill it has is good with pb and the long range as a advantage people say that it is bad but me I mastered it and it is pretty good the reason why it’s has a reputation of being mid is because people not using it correctly and how much people not using it it’s when you first get it and it’s a hard weapon to master so that’s a, A tier
black saber goes in a S tier because of the big advantages that it has that is totally outstanding like when you master it your going to holding your blocking for a long time and that’s what you call a advantage and when you pb with it is also a huge gap that upgrades the black sabers defense with your own skill and that’s why it’s a S tier
these are my opinions on why you should rank them higher
Spear got nerfed a while back, so maybe I just expect too much not coz it was a lot better, I aggree tonfa should be higher, and I can't remember where I put Blacksaber. It ain't S tier but deffo A if it isn't already

I know im quite late but i have all the sabers apart from the tofna, spear and dual staff but even at almost 4k kills im not really sure what the meta is rn and im not sure what one is should main ( i quite the game for a while)
Its a hard one, because there isn't really a single "meta" saber over found, but personally I like dual sabers, and the common favourite is staff, so if I had to guess I'd go with one of them

They are very different, altho personally i'd go for crossguard or darksaber. If you wanted one of those though, I would say dual staff, as it's good against teamers (its pretty bad 1v1 though...)
Nah bro… tonfa is way too fucking underrated. All of its stats are balanced yet high af. It’s hard to use but if u master it ur basically fp anakin.
Maybe, I just haven't heard many people using it, or fought against many so I figured it was no good. Maybe I'm wrong, but I still don't think its as good as the S or A tier sabers
