I'll give this performance a C+, or B-. Why?? The Star Spangled Banner should be sung CORRECTLY. There's no room for artists to inflect their own individual tweaks. It is our NATIONAL ANTHEM, and should be respected and sang PROPERLY at ALL TIMES. Having said that, I'm NOT hating on Pia. She's an INCREDIBLY GIFTED singer with outstanding vocals, stage presence, and is a beautiful woman. In fact, my wife and I just saw her perform with Andrea Bocelli last night (Feb 16, 2023) in Tampa. WOW!! What an AMAZING performance by Andrea, Pia, Nadine Sierra, and other talents !! We thoroughly enjoyed the entire show.
