despite the fact that protonjon is the strongest player that usually wins, I still always feel he is the underdog- perhaps because these games tend to have features that screw over the person in lead.
Well to be fair, if it weren't for those features people like Jon would win everytime pretty much.
so hold on a second, from what just this channel has shown me, the Wii U had some pretty damn great games, i feel like it didnt have to sell as bad as it did and i ave trouble figuring out why it did

poor advertisement mainly, some people I know just thought it was an 'updated wii' (like how the new 3ds is an update to the 3DS) that and a lack of third party making it basically a nintendo and platinum exclusive console.
DemonLord Parkus Most of the advertising was absolutely terrible. Made it look like something only for five year olds
It was poorly marketed, kinda pricey (a refurbished one is still like 200 bucks), and it had a really poor launch line up. Also, the basic version had an 8gb internal drive with no way to upgrade it. Then, the poorly performing initial release led to poor third-party support. Then, you had things like Smash getting an arguably superior version on the 3DS.

Finsfan4life Is that the reason? I knew about the upload problems (Lucahjin said as much in her Twitter), but she and Emile were able to get their content up. Is there a tweet from the TRG page confirming this? I checked their page a few minutes after 1 PM PT, and they hadn’t said anything, so I figured that they simply went back to their usual schedule.
Rexaura888 Chuggaa shared it to his Twitter, but he was able to get his video up on time. They had uploaded a video on Monday, which is why I don't think they're doing the T/R/S schedule. It's possible I could be presuming too much, but I think it would be odd if they just changed the schedule midweek.
Finsfan4life Well so long as they said as such. Kinda sucks that we missed out on the upload meant for today, which will likely go up on Saturday, but it is what it is.
The reason why they uploaded on Monday though is because for board-based games, Emile normally uploads daily until the board ends, at which point the next board begins on Saturday unless there isn’t one. It’s why I was surprised we got an upload Tuesday since it looked like this part of the game was also board-based and partly why I thought today’s upload was meant for today given how short the board is. That said, it makes sense that Emile would make an exception here because of this board’s length.

Me, I just see it as it is, and I don’t think Jon would work any less harder for a win if the game were to let up on him after putting him through the wringer. None of them would, really. Just look at the TRG Video Game challenges of Thrown Controllers. Doesn’t matter if the guest is experienced or a noob, they don’t ease up to the point where the guest has a chance of winning if it’s within their power.
