How To Edit Ali Abdaal Shorts In Premiere Pro 2024 (Full Guide)

Ali Abdaal is a creator with 5 million subscribers and over 400 million views. The Ali Abdaal editing style has been taking over Instagram, TikTok, and TH-cam shorts. That's why in today's video, I'll be taking you on a step-by-step guide to edit an Ali Abdaal video in Adobe Premiere Pro.
First, we went through and planned out how we will create these viral animations that Ali uses, and masked out our character from the background using Adobe After Effects.
Then we created our cuts and used J-cuts to make the video more fast-paced and engaging for the viewer.
Once we did that, we applied our show-not-tell mentality and created the minimalistic paper tears and animations for our intro, making sure that it was captivating and interesting for the viewer.
We then visualized the rest of our video and made sure to use 3D effects and transform tools to create a high-end animated look for our video!
Then we dove into sound design, and made use of whoosh sound effects, risers, hits, and drones, to create a cool atmosphere and bring all of our minimalistic animations to life!
After that, we added our final touches, created the subtitles that Ali Abdaal uses, and exported our video.

It's a pain trying to keep up with the instrucitons. Too much unnecesary editing for the tutorial. You arent even telling which layers to do what at certain points. Its a tutorial, not an edit, dont be fancy keep it simple. And about all those memes u put in here and there, yeah they can be funny but only once. again, its a tutorial bro, people are here to see how to do it, not to see all the unnecesary things.

Awesome video. I am small TH-camr, and creating good content and editing it properly does help massively. But at the end of the day, if you are not popular people won't care even if you have best content on the platform. For me it was tough at beginning, but soon I found out I could level up my channel, just enough to get noticed (and honestly if I didn't use a lot of Famester, I would have quit a long time ago).
That is very true, you can seperate yourself from the people and have something special going and from there it's really just waiting for TH-cam to show your channel to others. However since we can't control that, it's best we focus on what we can control, which is our ability to create amazing content!

nope, I'm using premiere pro, although most of this can be made using capcut, now it doesn't really matter unless you'd like the top notch industry standard then I'd say go for premiere
