It's not the best Second Wind boss in terms of AI design, but I do think it's a much more striking boss for other reasons. For gameplay, the Hinox King is immune to eyeball stunning, which alone cripples other hinoxes. He also does a ridiculous amount of damage, and the room you fight him in also plays a part. Since he's blind, you can stealth around him to take out his co-horts, and if you do, you get rewarded with an easier fight. 'Cause if you instead go right for him, you'll alert the entire room, and you'll have archers and tons of lackeys to deal with. Not to mention he's fast enough to outpace you. I had to use Stasis just to get breathing room to beat the stragglers. So, I can't honestly say it was a let down. I didn't know what to expect, since it's a fan made mod. But I enjoyed the dungeon, loved the boss' visual design, and the fight was fun but tough (The video is my 7th or so attempt. I only beat it this time because I played it more safely).

The emulator CEMU is available at cemu.info. The mods are available on GameBanana.com. As for the ISO, the easiest route is to rip the CD yourself. But if you own the game on Switch, or just don't want to track down a Wii U disk and mod a Wii U, then you should be able to find an ISO if you google for it.
For real though, I am playing this through the Wii U emulator CEMU. You can play this on a modded Wii U as well, and I *think* it's available for modded switches as well.

The Wii U isn't a powerhouse, so most can run CEMU, even on standard computers. With that said, you can mod a physical Wii U very easily to run mods, and you can mod your Switch to run them as well (although I don't know how hard the process is, or what the risks of modding your Switch are.) The mods are available for download on GameBanana.com. The Zelda's Ballad mod has been ported to the Switch, but Second Wind has not, as far as I know.

My biggest complaint was the lack of variety when it came to enemies. None of them except the Lynels are particularly fun to battle and it gets so repetitive fighting moblin horde after moblin horde
I did actually make the champion weapons unbreakable (I never used them otherwise- didn't want to break them). Second Wind also has an unbreakable Hylian Shield as a reward for completing all 12 dungeons, but they are not all implemented yet, so I had to use a custom chest spawner mod to get it. Other than that, I honestly enjoy weapon durability. It makes me switch up what I use, and makes finding weapons more exciting. It's only an issue when you play on Master Mode since some enemies take several weapons to beat. But that problem is lessened by disabling the health regen. Not to mention I can use menu overflow and durability transfer if I get a weapon I truly want to keep.
