  • In the rapidly changing world of small SUVs, can the five-2019 old Qashqai still keep up? More and more manufacturers are putting runs on the board with small SUVs. And, if you’re overwhelmed trying to figure out what’s what in the booming segment, there’s a good chance you’re not alone.
See, there are so many small SUVs now, and for better or worse you're faced with a lot of actually very good options.
So, how does Nissan’s long-running Qashqai differentiate itself? Through size, mainly. Despite only mild facelifts throughout its life, the Qashqai continues to be massively popular with buyers thanks to its dimensions, which place it somewhere between a traditionally ‘small’ SUV and what’s now considered a mid-sizer.
That means it slots in-between something like a Mazda CX-3 and larger options, like Toyota’s new RAV4.
Sounds like it could be the perfect size for many buyers. But, five 2019s into its lifecycle, is it still one of the ‘good’ ones? Let’s find out.

I have it since Septemder 2018Exactly the same. No problems, no regrets. Best hidden+. off road capabilities. Worst hidden-. Poor interior/boring(cheap plastic but solid). For me best value for money when i bought it and still is. By the way, i live in Europe.

In late 2019 I bought an 2019 st love the car but above 80 km and there tyre noise The problem was I suppose was it just to quite. So quite the only thing you can hear is tyre noise that coming thought the rear of the car But then I found it was the tyres and was realy starting to annoy me I been told they can put form in the bast of the tyre the thing is I done over 5000 km and the tyre nose is all most gone. The thing is the car has a 2 lt engine And it go.s though a lot fuel. Though it averages around 7lt per 100k. with out the air con on I do average 10k per year. So at 7lt per 10k that 10k / by 100 /7 = 700 lt per 10k. per year And at a cost of 1,35 per litre.for the cheeper fuel. That I can get. That mean Ill be spending around about $945.00 on fuel ever year.

Once it gets over 1000000km and your warranty expires you'll find that will be the least of your problems as the cvt jatco (crapco) industries worst have high of rate of failure resulting in 5 to 8k repair bill and no support from Nissan..
Nissan once a great car company destroyed there reputation with this cvt

@@robertceroli3512 My wife and I are now on a gov pension My wife never had a new car This was not just the cheapest new car I could afford it was the only new car I could afford. They sold for $33,000 + on road cost I bought this car as a 3 month old ex-demo in January 2020 it included on road cost for $26000 + 1000 for insurance as it had 4500 km on it. It save me $6000.00 I didn't have If I had not got this I would not have ben able to buy a new car At the time I did not know about the CVT problem till after I bought it. then I did the research. But so for it been good Unless I bought this car I would not have been able to get a new car with a 10 year warranty

Test drove one of these yesterday, and the engine was noisier and its acceleration felt delayed and felt underpowered. Road noise was a bit loud for my liking. Outdated infotainment (small screen) and no Apple Car Play and/or Android Auto and a space saver spare, it was a disappointment for me. I guess my expectation was higher than it could deliver.

I cannot understand why all these SUVs are so gutless, at least 180 Kw would be a great option 🤔

This is the definition of beige SUV. Boring, slow, and ugly. Should sell like not cakes given people's taste lately
