+Tifty Sif If a hunk of shit smells bad because you decided to experiment with Mexican And Indian cuisine i guess you can say it smells like roses becuase it was an experiment.
+Tifty Sif But if you are experimenting in the kitchen, then mix cockroaches and poop, you can taste it, then you can say is bad. Then you dont have to give it your customers. Following your logic, every song could be an experiment and it would be ok if they sucked, "cause they are experimental".
By Weezer's standards, it's their worst song. The Blue Album, Pinkerton, and everything up until Make Believe was great. Make Believe was when Weezer started to go down hill. Beverly Hills was the complete opposite of what everyone loved about Weezer in the first place. Fortunately, they've made an amazing come back with Everything Will Be Alright In The End and The White Album.
My friend was a big Police fan. He got that album and we listened it together, we loved 'Mother' because of its crazyness. Teenage years :-) Thank you for the memories!
When it first came out, I thought "Beverly Hills" was cheesy and a little grating, but for some reason, on the rare occasions on which I hear it today, I feel like singing along.
Adam Pollard and apparently so is your choice in music. The beatles, even if you don't prefer their music, influenced basically all music made in the western world today. Even the start of metal is believed to have been influenced by the song Helter Skelter.
weezer never went mainstream, mainstream went weezer. Beverly Hills sounds like many of the songs on El Scorcho and the blue album, they never really changed their sound, its just that the industry has changed since the 90s so what was on the fringe in the 90s is the norm now. When grunge first started it was for outcasts, then nirvana came and everyone was into grunge all of sudden, once upon a time rap was a small thing only listened to by small groups of people, now its one of the most popular types of music, meanwhile in the 70s folk music was popular and now its only for hipsters, the industry changed and accepted weezer, weezer didn't change for the industry.
+Yalili Metri TBH it's so bad that it becomes so good. Also I don't know why people make such a fuss about it, Bowie and Jagger were only goofing around with this track.
Well I'm not hating on just his 2010 career, everything since has been terrible, and he kind of IS the face of modern millennial culture and music (to me at least) because when most people think of pop, Justin Bieber is one of the singers they think of.
Admittedly, the entire St. Anger album has grown on me over the last 4-5 years. I still do not like the strange production choices, but the songs are not as bad as I thought they sounded.
Mother by The Police sounds good though. Same goes for The Beatles track. And I love St Anger too. I might just have a terrible taste in music. Or just weird.
it is good but Metallica left their speed style of music when they became pop. they have evolved into a popular band instead of cutting edge music. but that's their personal prefference.
+ANCUTTER It should've been higher up really, but then again Weezer were only good for two albums before they screwed it all up. It's such a terrible song.
Beverly Hills was the third best song to come out of Weezer's "pop song" era, the second best being Memories, and the best being The Greatest Man That Ever Lived. I even like the song as just a Weezer song in general, but when you compare it to their best stuff, be it anything off of Blue Album and Pinkerton, Hash Pipe, Island In The Sun, or even stuff from Everything Will Be Alright In The End and the White Album, it's very, very weak.
Bullshit...Beverly Hills is a bop.... so what if it got "mainstream" The song and video is basically a parody of Hollywood ... it's supposed to have a poppy mainstream feel... ever heard of irony?!

Bugs was a really fun song. Just rediscovered it after realizing I missed it when uploading the cd to my iPod. Besides, idavanida and dirtymophandlemama were leaps and bounds worse. In all fairness they did intentionally take a pretty noticeable creativity turn after Vitalogy.
Mother is genius!! The odd time signature, the dizzying obsessive Bernard Hermann style guitar riff that further ties the theme to the Hitchcock thriller, The Robert Fripp inspired guitar solo. How can someone not appreciate this? I
+MissKennedy18 like its not bad but most supper hardcore weezer fans consider it the beginning of the end. Like the massage literally just cant be taken as good but really should have been can't stop partying as the bad song.
If you were going to pick Queen song for this list, should've gone with Body Language in my opinion. The lyrics are terrible and a real failed attempt at Disco Rock.

5:53 No No NO staying power is an AMAZING I just can't forget the classic tune from the song it's amazing and I love it
BEVERLEY HILLS IS FREAKING AWESOME
+Dylan Hale Nah
Ya it was just a different sound for them
Dylan Hale
Different and significantly worse.
+Dylan Hale agree
A bad song from Queen is still 1000x better than today's music
Mordecai The Awesome Bluejay #PuppetMaster 0x1000=0
This...like a million times over
I can't agree with you more!
Queen has lots of hits and masterpieces but they're albums as a whole are ok
Except "body language",but the bass line is lit af
Seriously Weezer??? Beverly Hills is so good
TRUTH
(nice profile picture btw)
Ikr! I love Beverly Hills
These guys must be drunk
"Number 8" **burp**
"Number 8" **burp**
"Number 8" **burp**
Kelly Stout I just heard that and I lmao lol
I disagree with Beverly Hills being a bad Weezer song
That songs fucking great man, love it
Agreed.
My friend was a big Police fan. He got that album and we listened it together, we loved 'Mother' because of its crazyness. Teenage years :-) Thank you for the memories!
I actually like revolution 9
#veryearly
same!
I love it.
Number 9, Number 9, Number 9
Me too
When it first came out, I thought "Beverly Hills" was cheesy and a little grating, but for some reason, on the rare occasions on which I hear it today, I feel like singing along.
Beverly Hills is a good song…
Sellouts
+jaspar trash Hell yeah I love that song!
yeah
I always liked it. There's a bunch of turds working over at watch mojo.
nothin wrong w/ it. though, the sweater song has the same chords and is way better.
What!? Why is Beverly Hills on here??
Cinematic Ali maybe because it sucks?
Kinder Bueno your a fucking idiot
Brant Stewart oh that hurt, and btw it’s ”you’re” not ”your”
Brant Stewart you make me laugh :D
And if you really didn’t know you’re and you are mean the same
Kinder Bueno haha you're a fucking idiot. Not so intelligent are you there dumbass
Bugs made me shit myself from laughter I always thought it was a joke
Well at least better than foxymophandlemama.
@@xnly_sqwl yeah, that is a creepy song.
@@xnly_sqwlThat's right. I hate that song.
makes me wanna cry
Revolution 9 is probably one if the scariest and most unsettling songs I've ever heard. Its terrible
revolution 9 would be right at home in a horror movie
Just because it's scary and unsettling doesn't make it bad.
It's experimental, not terrible.
@@thaenebrissss_96 they were all on hella drugs it's not experimental
@@samanthacolley2001 drugs were the key to make experimental music
How can Weezer determine weather or not their songs get mainstream attention or not?
Unpopular Opinion:
Weezer:Beverly hills is a great song
Ok st anger is one of the most hype underrated songs by Metallica
Faxxxxx
True
Not every track on an album is a song. Revolution number 9 is an art piece for a generation strung out. It was a feeling not a song.
truth, I enjoy it for what it is.
the beatles are shit anyway
Adam Pollard oh look at this dude trying to get attention lol
Adam Pollard and apparently so is your choice in music. The beatles, even if you don't prefer their music, influenced basically all music made in the western world today. Even the start of metal is believed to have been influenced by the song Helter Skelter.
That's true. The Waiting Room by genesis is another example.
why Watchmojo hates Weezer
weezer never went mainstream, mainstream went weezer. Beverly Hills sounds like many of the songs on El Scorcho and the blue album, they never really changed their sound, its just that the industry has changed since the 90s so what was on the fringe in the 90s is the norm now. When grunge first started it was for outcasts, then nirvana came and everyone was into grunge all of sudden, once upon a time rap was a small thing only listened to by small groups of people, now its one of the most popular types of music, meanwhile in the 70s folk music was popular and now its only for hipsters, the industry changed and accepted weezer, weezer didn't change for the industry.
staying power is such a bop and i love hot space i can’t believe this
IKR, Body Language is MUCH worse
If you consider "Revolution Nr9" as a musical piece you failed in music
+Mike Ze What the hell else would it be?
WTF is dancing in the street doing here??
IKR!
it could never be bad
It's a terrible song, that's why.
+Yalili Metri TBH it's so bad that it becomes so good. Also I don't know why people make such a fuss about it, Bowie and Jagger were only goofing around with this track.
As mentioned I love it in a so bad it's good way. It's not going to win awards but I enjoy it.
I'm pretty sure Bugs is intentionally weird and bad.
“10. Revolution 9”
Um, have you ever listened to WILD HONEY PIE???
But revolution 9 is still very bad
Wild Honey Pie is worse imo
@@sonicphonixmusic2865 wild honey pie is actually painful to listen to
But, they're better than justin bieber
nope, jacob sartorius is worse then bieber but they both suck
El Masterson Actually he's still kinda popular
Well I'm not hating on just his 2010 career, everything since has been terrible, and he kind of IS the face of modern millennial culture and music (to me at least) because when most people think of pop, Justin Bieber is one of the singers they think of.
MadF0xy SK says you...
*HUEHUEHUEHUEHUE JUSTIN BIEBER JOKES IN 2018 AMIRITE*
It is impossible for Queen to have a bad song
Bohemian rapsody, we are the champions and the list goes on.
thats their great songs
body language
Exactly! Its Queen!
Queen is my favorite band, but come on, bicycle race, really?
Revolution 9 is a really edgy piece of art. It's not really a song to be listened to on the radio. Its not a single. It's just an experiment
Heyy Clown I actually like Revolution 9. I was looking for a comment to see if I was the only one who did.
Admittedly, the entire St. Anger album has grown on me over the last 4-5 years. I still do not like the strange production choices, but the songs are not as bad as I thought they sounded.
It's underrated. I enjoy it. Especially "Frantic".
Unnamed feeling is hands down the best song on the album
"Influenced by Yoko Ono" say no more
Mother by The Police sounds good though. Same goes for The Beatles track. And I love St Anger too. I might just have a terrible taste in music. Or just weird.
Dinba you had it right the first time..terrible taste😅
I would like St Anger if it didn't have a trashcan as the drums. But Metallica is amazing.
Neither. Though you have just stuffed you your chances of becoming a list writer for WatchMojo.
You have terrible taste and standards
No they are good songs
St Anger is probably the best song on that album
Xander Haselmann That's okay, because that album was garbage
Xander Haselmann it's good but Frantic is better
Are you for real? I agree with St Anger being the best!
it is good but Metallica left their speed style of music when they became pop. they have evolved into a popular band instead of cutting edge music. but that's their personal prefference.
* least worst
I swear I am the only person in the world who likes Beverly Hills by Weezer
You're not alone. I love the song too.
Your not alone, I like that song
I like it too
Lmao look at the comments you arnt
Revolution 9 is meant to be how it is it's not a bad song it's supposed to be trippy and odd
And bad
+SA3Future depends on the situation in which your listening to it its isn't bad fucked up but if you're just easy listening of course it is
Worst songs, is Beverly Hills really a worst song.
Yes.
Yeah especially compared to other songs like say it aint so
I love this song.
+ANCUTTER It should've been higher up really, but then again Weezer were only good for two albums before they screwed it all up. It's such a terrible song.
+barbwireboy2 New album looks good and EWBAITE was aight
Beverly Hills is great!
Ikr!!! I love it!
Yes it is!
Luca true
I agree
99% comments: Ah Beverly hills is a good song

Bullshit...Beverly Hills is a bop.... so what if it got "mainstream" The song and video is basically a parody of Hollywood ... it's supposed to have a poppy mainstream feel... ever heard of irony?!
Yes!!
doesn’t make it a good song tho. parody or not its still shit

weezers beverly hills is a great song i dont agree with having it on this list
Let's be honest. Weezer had plenty of songs waaaaay worse than Beverly Hills
I loved Beverly Hills
Beverly hills that's where I want to be
same here
+A7XRedninja11 7 gimme gimme
gimme gimme
Agreed and I've loved Weezer before then. so, to me, that doesn't make any sense
Living in BEVERLY HILLS
Why is NO ONE mad about Staying Power? Yes, Hot Space is different, but that song is AWESOME! ALL OF QUEEN IS GREAT! Screw WatchMojo
queen rocks they can not suck on any songs
I love that song, fuck WatchMojo!
Danny Valencia there's no such thing as a bad Queen song. It's impossible
Get Down Make Love, She Makes Me, Gimme the Prize, Party :D
Queen is a great band but they wrote a lot of bad songs dude hate to break it to ya
Don't compare U2 to one direction...... Just don't
k bg not the band a type of lyric
Ben Liss true but still.
Mother is genius!! The odd time signature, the dizzying obsessive Bernard Hermann style guitar riff that further ties the theme to the Hitchcock thriller, The Robert Fripp inspired guitar solo. How can someone not appreciate this? I
I actually like Beverly Hills
I don't see why it's even in this list
It's not a bad song, they've had MUCH worse than "Beverly Hills".
+MissKennedy18 like its not bad but most supper hardcore weezer fans consider it the beginning of the end. Like the massage literally just cant be taken as good but really should have been can't stop partying as the bad song.
So do I. Imo it just sounds like Weezer. And they didnt become mainstream, their fanbase just grew incredibly huge!
+MissKennedy18 Actually, I don't like Weezer
If you were going to pick Queen song for this list, should've gone with Body Language in my opinion. The lyrics are terrible and a real failed attempt at Disco Rock.
We are the champions is a total piece of shit
Why do you say that?
AbsoluteNut1 we are the champions is amazing. Do you need a cookie or something? Was someone shitty to you? It's not the songs fault I promise!
@@AbsoluteNut1 finally someone who agrees!

Beverly Hills is amazing.
Yvng Casper hell yes it is!
Especially live!
If you're not a weezer fan ;p

The best thing about "Mother" is that the fantastic drum intro into the great bass-line of "Miss Gradenko" would soon be on the way...

Beverly Hills is still a pretty good song in my opinion.
Dancing in the streets by Jager and Bowie is great. The video is weird as hell but that seems appropriate.
Pyrolight yeah i love that song, i even like the music video in a The Room or The Wicker Man way
"Staying Power" is an AWESOME SONG! I don't care what you say. It's a great song!
Beverly Hills is literally one of the best weezer songs. The lil Wayne thing shoulda been on here.
