This Rise of the Ronin Combat guide offers the deepest breakdown with techniques you will want to know to master the action and have more fun plus fight with style. We have a beginner guide below but after that this is the video to learn everything you need. Beginner combat guide here th-cam.com/video/jHWyshNq9fM/w-d-xo.html
This is some good stuff. I have an idea about your next video maybe. How about cover certain styles and their martial arts and how to work uniquely. Like the katana's Aisu Kage style when mastered gives you a very unique extra martial art that does more than what other martial arts do. Or the Nioh style when mastered it gives you the iai quickdraw martial art but guess what, you can equip a different martial art to R1+O and still use the quickdraw by using blade flash/ki pulse and quickly press R1+O just like how we used to quickly do it in Nioh.
Yes I already have a video i made but want to add more to make it best overall, doing each style will be a long series so much creativity but could be fun. appreciate the feedback and lets see how well this does.
@@IsraTheBlack yeah for katana gikei ryu, aisu kage ryu, tennen rishin ryu have secret attacks when you cancel the nioh Iai Odachi has something similar with shinto munen ryu if you cancel the r1+x before the attack finishes then switch to yagyu shinkage ryu you'll preform one of the shoguns attacks
Its been a blast, Actually really surprised at how awesome end game is btw. Just made a end game guide here. can still watch no spoilers th-cam.com/video/dXiNKLe0MY4/w-d-xo.html
Im absolutely addicted to this game. The combat is incredible and im going to say that they knocked the story out of the park especially when you see how all bond missions tie into the narrative. Its an incredible game. I usually have a katana primary and swap between oxtail, dual blades, and polearm for secondaru@MagGamerInc
Game most def is dope I actually didn't expect to be this deep into it bro. I have somehow 100% the first 2 maps effortlessly and been enjoying the game too much. Crazy I hardly play games with bond relationships and all the stuff is non sense to me lmao I feel like I got real life relationships I need to work on but this game been so good I had to at dive deep. Just getting to new map now btw. Lmao might be like 30 plus hours in. What you been up to in the game so far?
I feel you bro lol I’m still tryna figure out what gifts to give to who to strengthen bonds, I have a bunch of them I haven’t used yet because I don’t wanna waste them. I was playing last night & I just got to the 2nd map after 32hrs in just the first part of the map lol also I left all the loot boxes until I get to a higher level for better loot, I remembered in one of your live streams you recommended opening them at a higher level so that’s what I’ve been doing & my character is level 31 so far
Start using them if its someone you really want the combat style to and item has a heart on it give them that one. each person likes different things, So take your time on who has best rewards. note you can hit the vendors to buy more gifts also gamble a ton and buy a lot of gifts. pro tips. game will get you top loot all game but yeah opening later I tend to wait until I am leaving map than go back to all chest open before starting new area to be ready for war hehe.
@@MagGamerInc oh wow idk how I didn’t notice the heart on the gifts, thanks bro & yeah imma go back soon to get the loot boxes I left in the first part of the map. Hopefully it’s some good gear
You know something else done real well is the difficulty settings. Sure easy is, well easy lol, but it allows you to play early on with less frustrations while getting game mechanics and actions down a bit, then bump her on up as your skill increases. I think they did really well on the graduations of difficulty, bosses can still kill early on in easy mode as well.
Great guides brother! Love the channel🙂 can you do a guide showing us how to get the Handpicked Cologne accessory? No one seems to be able to show and explain it and it’s killing me😡
I’ve changed R1 and R2 around and the same with L2 and L1 makes it more comfortable for me ,so L2 is block and R2 plus square ect special move, way more accessible
You are a smart one, I have done this too. My friends hate on me for it but I love my cursed key bindings(I aim and switch meele weapon on triangle binded to a back button just like I do in night 2😂)
Nice glad I can help, I actually made 2 other versions last week and this week but kept learning more and wanted the best video so made this, still got more I am learning if this does well I'll be making even more discovery of combat stuff. appreciate you.
Honestly got so much footage from my lets play to guides i havent uploaded becuase I been enjoying the game. lol slacking on other things just to play. smh
The thing with changing stances. Say the weapon you're using already indicated a blue "effective" stance attack status, when you switch to the other weapon that has a red "ineffective" stance wouldn't that be counter-productive in that you'll then be making ineffective attacks?
Yes switching to weaker attack might seem less effective but knowing when to don't is key for many reasons. One you switch to use martial art on the attack and or combo as the violent gale does a spin attack that works to push all surrounding enemies and or push enemy in front of you back with a stumble. It's not that you always want to do it the goal of my guide is teach mechanic as you might fight one guy who stance is chi and the other is ten so being able to swap fast flowing in combat is the main lesson so you can stay within combos and fight effectively.
I'll add the importance of knowing how to violent gale aka switch stances during a fight is the main reason. How many fights your in and multiple enemies are there you need to switch. Why stop attacking when you can keep attacking with swapping stance to correct one. Or when a boss changes stances and you got to also do so? Also when surrounded its perfect to do a spin attack go push people off you. Many ways to use it. Personally using martial arts I like between correct stance is fun and awesome.
Not sure if any of this works during master duels, by far the hardest part of the game. Theyre relentless and dont stagger unless you completely reduce their ki, or break their block which is difficult

Lots of combat styles have secret attacks that can't be accessed by normal means
@@FreeMovies01 Yeah so far the only one I know of is the one with tatsumi ryu which lets you do a iai strike with the trail. You know of others?
