i think you made a mistake @4:27 .adding methyl group causes more selectivity for muscarinic receptors.so bethaechol becomes muscarinc selective

Thanks for raising the question but there is no mistake, if you put methyl group at alpha position then it increases selectivity towards nicotinic receptor and if methyl group is placed at beta position then those molecules are muscarinic selective e.g. Methacholine and Bethanechol.
See the structures carefully then you will understand the difference.
