He loves films. And that's the most important thing. I think a lot of the filmmakers of our time lost that. The passion, the excitement for an art form with history and people behind that history.
MUBI Picks at Posteritati is a series already! You can watch everything so far in this playlist: th-cam.com/play/PLKl7YbzhkylRJSptuzEtsqTp1LN3itjUb.html More to come soon!
@@mubi Thanks for answering! I meant if there was a series with Todd Field talking about films and posters, I'd certainly watch it all the time. But the others are good too.

Scorsese still has it.
I can listen to him for hours talking about movie posters.
Could've watched an hour long one of this. What a pleasure to listen to Todd
Utterly wonderful choices. What a hero.
Todd Field’s TAR is nothing short of masterpiece, with an masterclass performance from legendary Cate Blanchett
No
spiegnew preisner's score for NO END is one of the best ever - i cant believe he mentioned it. a true artist - also great fucking taste
Opening Night is _easily_ my fav by Cassavettes, from the first time I saw it I loved it.
Polish posters reign supreme!
If this became a series I'd watch it everyday until the end of my life.

anybody know where is jacket is from??
He looks just like his part from Eyes Wide Shut
Opening Night, aside from everything else, looks stunningly beautiful. When it comes to posters I'd say Bookie's are much more accomplished though.
Tar will outlast times of modern cinema.
