Thank you for a good presentation. The reality is that the only truly ecumenical council was the one at Jerusalem (Acts) which is not even counted by historians. Nicea 1 was close enough to ecumenical to count. After that there were so many councils that now we can go back and pick whatever one wants.
Your last point that only the first 2 were actually accepted by the official major Churches at the end was exactly right.
