For the price, you really can’t complain. I really never thought about the Railmaster. Omega’s are very expensive and the Railmaster definitely gets overshadowed by other Omega models. It’s amazing they are able to offer a watch like this for this price. A nice dial, decent finishing, sapphire, and a reliable Japanese movement for under $100 US.
True to your word, we voted and along it comes! I've already got a blue one waiting for me back home, which I'll meet in a couple of weeks. Now I'm looking forward to it even more. Thanks again!

Saw this watch first on your channel, and really like it. Just got it and sized it on the bracelet...really like it! Its a perfect size, wears like a 39mm. The indices give it a great vintage vibe and i like the cross-hairs, as well as the vertical brushing on the dial. The watch has a nice, quality heft. I like the fact that the movement hacks and the crystal is sapphire (nice to see a display back, too). I bought mine on Aliexpress for less than $70...a real bargain, I think, for such a nice watch. Thanks for bringing (yet another!) nice watch to my attention and into my collection. Happy new year--hope to see your channel continue to grow!
#relativetime I have never cared much one way or the other regarding homage watches and tend to agree with your view seeing them as an introduction to something you may not otherwise see or even be able to own. Thought this one looked fantastic at the price.

Went back and watch this one again and decided I could squeeze it in my budget...Certainly can’t afford the real thing so Am Homage will have to do!
Relative Time It's powered by the Miyota 821A, which hacks and winds manually. Probably your railmaster has the same engine. I've read criticism of this movement in that it has a noisy rotor. Maybe some do but mine's almost silent. Just to recap, I'm talking about the Corgeut 41mm sapphire Aqua Terra homage.
I just got my Corgeut Railmaster homage and I love it. Mine has the Miyota 8215 movement and on a stainless steel band. I am going to change out the band with a leather strap. BTW, the rotor is somewhat noisy on this movement.
It's normal in most Miyotas. Or at least you expect more rotor noise then a Seiko or ETA based movement. Even on the 9000 series. It bothers some people, others (like me) don't even notice it. Although part of the reason it doesn't bother me is because I used to wear a Seiko Kinetic for years. Now those have loud rotors.
I had one more winder spot, before needing to buy a new winder box. I was just about to hit "go" on the Pagani Explorer II Homage. But that would have been my 8th Pagani, and I already have the Pagani GMT. This video sold me on doing something different instead, at very close to the same price. I just bought one of these on Amazon. Hopefully, coming to this two years after your review, they are all hacking by now. We'll see. Thanks for this. My collection was on track to become boring and predictable. Now it is branching out in different directions.
Great video and what a deal for a watch at this price. I voted for this watch and am glad to see the review. Keep up the good work and look forward for more great reviews. BTW as a side note, am expecting my silver dial Vario Empire in the next few days. You were one of the reviews that really showed this watch and its beauty.
Nice looking watch! I stumbled across it on eBay a few months ago before I'd ever heard of the Railmaster. I liked it then, but now I really want a Railmaster. Maybe someday.
Hi Shane, received the piece last week, running +12, mine came with an 8215, rotor is a little noisy, but no big deal, and my strap was more like the Omega, with a tang and Buckle, but I popped it on a Nato, thanks for your reviews, as most of us cannot justify spending thousands on a time piece. 👍
Thank you for the awesome review. As always, detatled but not boring. I need to point out that the strap needs to be thin to fit into the clasp. I also fancied for sometime a Reef tiger Grand Reef, gramd seiko homage.
Thanks for the review. U've made a really good point there with them homage watches. I'm personally dragged towards BB58, so I went for a NTH Barracuda Vintage Black to get a feeling.
That vertical brushing gives the watch a nice texture on its dial, a very unique look. I'm surprised that you would get a Omega Railmaster over a Speedmaster. I was trying to find a good homage for the Speedmaster on Ebay. Corgeut does a pretty close one but the Bliger one is better in that it is pretty much spot on in emulating the layout and symmetry of the overall design of the dial.
Hi, nice review do you still use it? and what is your feedback do you have any issue with the motor. finally how many times you need to charge the motor by the crown for example once per day or more.
Thanks! I don't have it anymore. If you watch the end you will see that it was part of a giveaway. I haven't heard from the winner, but I'm hoping he is enjoying it. Movement wise I wouldn't have much concern. It's a standard Miyota (Citizen), so I'd be surprised if there were any issues.
Love the railmaster and aqua terra. Would certainly like to check out the Corguet versions as an introduction in the future. Great work as always #RelativeTime
@@RelativeTime Fantastic idea, would love to see how it compares to your Corguet Railmaster as well! Bonus if it also has the hacking upgrade you mentioned!

Last Month Phylida told me via message "We are making them Next Month"" I really didn't believe them. Thinking they were just appeasing me. But Sure enough.
Just purchased this myself. Although my watch doesn't seem to have a Miyota movement, but it has the DG2813 instead. I does have hacking. reliability is yet to be determined.
Thats odd, but I guess I shouldn't be surprised. My biggest frustration when reviewing something I get off Aliexpress is when they change specs a month later.
Really nice looking timepiece, thanks for the review. I've always liked the brushed dial look on the current railmasters and between that and the Seamaster 300, think that Omega has found a nice niche for some vintage feeling watches. And they aren't Speedi's which are awesome but ubiquitous.
#relative time. My first Omega will likely be an aqua terra, so this review makes me want to try out one of the Corgeut homages first--maybe the blue dial. Thanks for the review.
#RelativeTime Thanks a ton for this review. Definitely looking forward toward the Parnis video. Would be interested in hearing your thoughts comparing the two!
Nice review, as always) I'll keep this one in mind when I get the itch for a new watch again lol. I just got a Heimdallr (Sharkey, San Martin etc, same factory) tuna homage, and it's the best bang for buck out there! Great quality, very solid, domed sapphire with crazy blue anti reflective coating, nh35, nice lume, SS bezel insert (in the model I picked). Best $150 I spent on a watch lol, and it was shipped and divered to me in like 4 days from china straight from manufacturer. Seems there are very little reviews on those, I don't get why) they're great
@@RelativeTime they sent me a promo code - $15 off (NEWS15), should work for you too I think. I essentially used it for fast shipping. Their customer service is great too, I found an issue with a buckle, they're sending me the replacement strap. Very happy with the purchase, watch feels very solid, and looks awesome on a strapcode endmill bracelet) I think I'll get their pilot watch later on this year.
It looks like you can get this watch with either a Seagull or Miyota movement. Would you cross your fingers in hopes you get an upgraded Miyota, or is the Seagull better? Thanks.
Depends on which Seagull is in it. If it's the entry level seagull (don't remember the model) I would get the Miyota. Mostly because I have more experience with them and they mostly been positive. It's always a matter of luck when it comes to accuracy of the watch you get. Yet I always seem to have better luck with miyota than Seiko.
Torn between the Corgeut Railmaster ($76) and 007 ($82) which has a similar looking dial but with a bezel and seagull movement. Any thoughts on which is the better option?
Well some of the Corgeut Railmasters are also saying Seagull now. So they might of changed them. Should still be a descent movement. Personally I like the railmaster better as there isn't as much out there like it. While the 007 is based on a Omega Seamaster there are a lot of other divers out there that have a similar look.
#RelativeTime , I am sad I missed out on the corgeut as I fell in love with it the first time I saw it. the 'real' omega version is amazing, especially the fact it is essentially magnetic proof. great review . thanks
#RelativeTime Many of us who can not afford omegas and Rolex, your homage watches reviews are the best guide for them to start their watch Collection without making hole in the pocket. The videos are great and the review are honest.
🔥Great Review 👍 first I like to say that you are totally right about this tribute watches encouraging watch enthusiasts to actually pursuing the high end watch like the Omega Railmaster, second I’m impressed on how not close but very nice finish the achieved in the brushed dial, also they could have go a bit further and give their own touch like changing the hands for the broad arrow a mix of the modern Railmaster with the touch of the vintage 60’s not even Omega have done it ‼️ thanks 🥇
#relativetime I'm unfamiliar with the railmaster as I have just recently started looking into watches and have been trying to decide on one to get (debating between a mako USA ii and a Phoibos dive watch), but that Corgeut watch looks quite nice. I quite like how it's dial looks.
Hard choice. If your familiar with massdrop now drop. I think they have the orient Kamasu now for about $180. It's pretty close to the orient mako USA ii.
@@RelativeTime I was not familiar with it. I have heard the name a few times but never looked into what it is. Thank you for your response and for the information. That puts the Kamasu into consideration too. The differences between the Kamasu and the USA ii are mainly drilled lugs and solid end links, as far as I can tell. I didn't even know these terms until probably about a week ago, much less know if they are a big deal. Do you think they are worth it for the price difference or are good to have in general?
@@phillipmartin7577 there are a few issues with massdroop depending where you are. They are grey market like jomashop, so no factory warranty (usually) but a big discount. Drilled lugs are nice, same as solid endlinks. But not essentially. So at the price I think it's a better deal. Solid end links are an indication of a better bracket usually. But the one on the mako ii isn't a whole lot better. So depends on if you plan on using it or an aftermarket strap. Good think is that aftermarket brackets with endlinks for the mako ii should fit the Kamasu.
I've noticed that with some of the other corgeuts. I was looking today because of the 11 11 sale, but some of them weren't saying miyota anymore either.
Wish there were more watches like the Omega Aqua Terra and Rolex Explorer: dive capable watches without the rotating bezel. I find the bezel to be a bit of a gimmick and ultimately unnecessary in my life, but the water resistance and screw down crown are nice features. #RelativeTime
Agreed. I like a bezel occasionally, but without they look much more casual. Plus with the added water resistance they become watches you can go anywhere and do anything with.
What great value watches - very difficult to be in my opinion..... Thanks again for your compelling videos - I very much enjoy while travelling on the road for business..... #RelativeTime
how it actually is-can courget use the same design as omega without it being actually illegal? And is it illegal or not? (with the thought that there is even well known miyota inside....) What is official view of omega at this? Can someone give me a satisfactory answer?
That's a question I've wondered as well. Here is an interesting article on a blog to watch that talks about, but I don't think they go into much detail. www.ablogtowatch.com/ask-watch-experts/why-are-not-watch-companies-suing-copyright-infringement-day-long/ Otherwise, I also found this on some lawyers site. ericnortonlaw.com/can-i-trademark-it/trademark-a-watch-design/ So it seems that patenting functionality is easier (although those do run out), as is your logo and name. But the design aspect is tricky. Has to be something very original, and I guess most watches don't qualify.
corguet came up with the omega seamaster aqua terra homages too with the same case i guess, i think they should come up with a better font or maybe just a logo, the current one just doesnt look good. #RelativeTime
Thanks and welcome! The contest is over, but I appreciate the enthusiasm! Aliexpress itself is pretty safe. The Alibaba group at this point is pretty huge so I wouldn't worry about any random charges or anything. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alibaba_Group The trick, however, is the individual sellers. Aliexpress is kind of like eBay where they don't sell anything directly. Merely acting as a host site for individual sellers. Some are good and some are not. So try to pay attention to the store's rating, and maybe read some of the reviews on the individual items. There is always a little risk when ordering. Not just from the sellers pulling shenanigans, but also just getting lost while it travels to the USA. So just bear that in mind. Personally, I've only had a few issues, but they always came out in my favor. The first step is always contacting the individual store, sometimes they are helpful, but other times they haven't been. At which point you elevate it so that Aliexpress itself takes over the dispute. Just like eBay, they usually side with the buyer when there is an issue. At which point my money is usually refunded.
@@RelativeTime Thanks for the info. I'm a long time "watcher" of your channel. I got an Orient Defender right after I saw your review on it. I have, an continue to enjoy it. Again, thanks for the info.
It's actually not too bad. I've seen far worse. Had one that always stuttered this one is only noticable when it's upright and hand is coming down. Unfortunately just the way miyota movements work, and it's going to be luck of the draw on if it would have it or not.

@@RelativeTime thanks Shane ... very much appreciated.
#RelativeTime , I am sad I missed out on the corgeut as I fell in love with it the first time I saw it. the 'real' omega version is amazing, especially the fact it is essentially magnetic proof. great review . thanks
Great review. Thank you.
#RelativeTime Two days with fever in bed this Pentecost holiday is a bummer, but this review lightens it up a bit! Thx for this!
#RelativeTime
Many of us who can not afford omegas and Rolex, your homage watches reviews are the best guide for them to start their watch Collection without making hole in the pocket. The videos are great and the review are honest.
Thanks. I appreciate it. Love the dial on this one, I'll have to check out some of the other Corgeut in the future.
Congratulations to winner! Great video as always 👍
That would be an interesting mix. Unfortunately they seem to usually play it safe. Although now I'm curious if I can find hands and mod one.
Relative Time 🤭 I was thinking to do that 😬 that mod very inexpensive and I reckon it sales like hot cakes ‼️
Unfortunately there isnt a no-logo version. It would join my aliexpress explorer then.. but I am not keen on the Corgeut name.
I hear ya. Although Corgeut is better then a lot of other Ali-X names I’ve seen.
#relativetime
I'm unfamiliar with the railmaster as I have just recently started looking into watches and have been trying to decide on one to get (debating between a mako USA ii and a Phoibos dive watch), but that Corgeut watch looks quite nice.
It seems they also have a stainless steel version but can't find it with a miyota...
I've noticed that with some of the other corgeuts. I was looking today because of the 11 11 sale, but some of them weren't saying miyota anymore either.
Great review. Great quality production as always... keep up the great work.

#Relative Time Thanks for the video. I have a vintage 1969 Longines Auto that still works great. Looking forward to more homage videos.
What great value watches - very difficult to be in my opinion..... Thanks again for your compelling videos - I very much enjoy while travelling on the road for business..... #RelativeTime
I love the parnis
A nautilus dial with a panerai body #relativetime
*RelativeTime a really nice watch, exelent review, I would like to see you review dress watches, since there are not many options at low prices.
Thanks. Do you mean dress watches from Aliexpress? Or like Seiko 5 dress watches?
Hmmmmm, groovy start this time.
Groovy? Grooves? Rail grooves? Railmaster!
😎
how it actually is-can courget use the same design as omega without it being actually illegal? And is it illegal or not? (with the thought that there is even well known miyota inside....) What is official view of omega at this? Can someone give me a satisfactory answer?
That's a question I've wondered as well. Here is an interesting article on a blog to watch that talks about, but I don't think they go into much detail.
www.ablogtowatch.com/ask-watch-experts/why-are-not-watch-companies-suing-copyright-infringement-day-long/
Otherwise, I also found this on some lawyers site.
ericnortonlaw.com/can-i-trademark-it/trademark-a-watch-design/
So it seems that patenting functionality is easier (although those do run out), as is your logo and name. But the design aspect is tricky. Has to be something very original, and I guess most watches don't qualify.
corguet came up with the omega seamaster aqua terra homages too with the same case i guess, i think they should come up with a better font or maybe just a logo, the current one just doesnt look good. #RelativeTime
It's a pretty generic logo. I'm curious on how good the aqua Terra looks in person now. Might pick up one in the future.
#Relative Time. Thanks for the review.Congrats to the winner.
Great video 😁
#RelativeTime Just subscribed, sir. I am considering a purchase from AliExpress. Is it safe here in the US?
Thanks and welcome! The contest is over, but I appreciate the enthusiasm!
Aliexpress itself is pretty safe. The Alibaba group at this point is pretty huge so I wouldn't worry about any random charges or anything.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alibaba_Group
The trick, however, is the individual sellers.
@@stephenbridges2791 not a problem. Thanks for watching. If you any questions on a specific AliExpress watch let me know.
@@RelativeTime I sure will. I'm taking a hard look at this Railmaster here.
#RelativeTime thanks for doing reviews on this watches, I always look at them on Aliexpress and nobody talks about them
Congratulations to the winner #RelativeTime
A very interesting watch,#relative ime, might have to get one. Good review.
that second hand stutter can't be unseen can it?
It's actually not too bad. I've seen far worse. Had one that always stuttered this one is only noticable when it's upright and hand is coming down.
Unfortunately just the way miyota movements work, and it's going to be luck of the draw on if it would have it or not.
Nice watch!

Great review! I love these Chinese homage watches. It’s the perfect way to test drive the style of a watch that’s much more expensive and for people that will never be able to afford a luxury timepiece, it’s the best way to get a glimpse of the aesthetics.
Exactly. Thanks again!
#RelativeTime thanks for the review. Nice looking watch. Might start a collection just for homages now 😁
That could make a good video. Ultimate homage collection, that's not a subby.
#relativetime thanks for your reviews. It's a boon for people like me who looks out for good affordable watches. 👍
#RelativeTime I was actually eyeing the Parnis in AliExpress. I saw it while looking for nato straps. Would love to win it!
Hopefully I'll get to it soon. Also have some ideas for a giveaway when I hit 10,000 later this year.
Lovely peice, I see some come with a bracelet too, does anyone know how the bracelet is? #relativetime
#yeah man.I love the railmaster colour.
#relativetime
I like these homage reviews! Thank you!
My Junghan Max Bill has the same ghost date thing happening. Disappointing in a watch that costs over $500
Really? That's suprising. Maybe there isn't a non date version.
@@RelativeTime no Junghans was too lazy was too lazy to modify the no date version.
