I will be playing the Shattered Space DLC and Kingdom Come: Deliverance II when those come out. Maybe the Witcher 3? I've never played any Witcher games or seen the show, so maybe that would be fun.

It's very easy to get into your own head when playing these types of games and get tunnel-visioned. Oddly enough, your first run is sometimes your best run because you have no preconceived notions about how to approach the fight. Some people swear by leaving and taking a break or others do a couple of no-attacking runs to learn the patterns. I tend to be a student of the school of brute force, which you can see from this video isn't always effective.
amazing video i frl enjoyed watching this and it was mad funny and i respect all the hard work and effort you put into the video it really did come out great i didn't even see the 51 subs until now and i would've thought you had well over a couple hundred thousand.
I think the main problem on the bear is you using the pillar stance instead of the smash stance, you would have a much easier time as the pillar stance is more defense based and not even destabilize the boss with 3point focus attack for what i can see, with smash stance you would have destabilize him and get free attack hit from it
You might be right, but I just like using Pillar stance more than Smash stance. It's mostly just a personal preference. I have a lot more experience with Pillar stance, so I'm a bit more used to its timing and range. Also, I think this boss just has really bad staggering conditions. Compared to the Wandering Wight, I genuinely have no idea how to consistently stagger the black bear guai. It honestly felt like RNG whether he would get staggered. It also would have been helpful to spend my final spark point on stances to get another point of focus, but shoulda coulda woulda ya know. I almost first tried him, so I think it was a combination of factors as well as a good bit of impatience on my end.
Yeah, it's odd. Before recording this video I hadn't either. I should have known something was off because I had to be a 'settings goblin' for the first 15 minutes of my recording session to fix it. Of course, I finished the recording, restarted my computer, and lo and behold the frames were fixed.
Black bear hit box is bad, but it's nothing on 100 eye daoist. I remember missing all hits except the light attack finisher because of how terrible the hitbox is
On god, that was another one that gave me trouble in my playthroughs. I think it's because his hitbox is primarily his legs, so they are constantly moving. I also didn't know about the weaver's needle, so that made his second phase so much harder. That tiny little sword swing he does before changing the arena would ALWAYS hit me. I still don't know how to dodge it lmao.

i hated that bear bro i’m halfway through chapter 3 now and i haven’t struggled at all with any other bosses like i almost quit bc of that one bear
