Here's the start of the first Rock Band Track Pack! This was only released on PS2 and Wii since those consoles weren't able to get DLC any other way. Subsequent track packs were also released on PS3 and Xbox 360 and included download codes to import all the songs from the disc into RB1 and RB2. As a kid I was a menace that stole those codes from the back of the instruction manuals from GameStops. I stole every track pack for PS3 and Xbox 360 lmao. I'm sincerely sorry to the people who bought those games and got an already redeemed code.
Anyways, since this track pack wasn't released on Xbox 360, I just played all the songs from the track pack on RB1 on Xbox 360. I would've played it on PS2, but I didn't want the videos to look like shit. I think this is the preferable way. And I actually paid for every one of these songs since I couldn't steal a code for them lmao

Pretty much one of Blink-182's most known songs. And despite being a simple song in guitar, it's actually different from the GH5 chart lol.

Lowkey, I did the same thing at gamestop too with the trackpacks lmao. I also did the thing where you go to EA support and tell them that a code wasn't working for a trackpack and they would give me a "working" code for free. I did that for Greenday and ACDC.
Curious what made you record this in the RB1 Engine compared to the RB2 or RB3 engine. (Or if you wanna be meme heavy, Lego Rock Band lol.) I'm guessing it's for accuracy of when it was released, but I also find it somewhat inconsistent that you'd do that for this track pack, but not for Guitar Hero's DLC. I don't mind which game you play it on, but I'd imagine with RB3's overdrive mechanics giving you more overdrive thanks to unison bonus, there'd be a higher score potential if you play it on RB3 or even RB4.
All of the Guitar Hero DLC was done in Warriors of Rock simply because of the final setlist scroll at the end.
I wanted to stay as authentic to the track pack experience as possible without actually playing it on a PS2 or Wii. I debated playing all the track pack songs in RB2 simply because it's the better game, but since the track packs came on a disc, I wanted to do them all on the disc. The only reason I did all the DLC for GH in WoR instead of their respective games was so I could have every song in one setlist scroll (except the Jimi Hendrix songs, of course).
so even tho RB1 forces the HOPO chords to strums? iirc second half of the track packs are DLCs that we're released during the RB2 era

Rock Band Track Pack 1 is honestly kinda underrated. I have the entire Guitar Hero and Rock Band collection on both PS2 and Xbox 360 (I own every single game from both series on both consoles if there is a version for both), but to be honest I just prefer the feel of the games on my PS2 with the SG Gibson controller. I've still poured probably $1000+ into DLC songs for both Rock Band 3 (which is really any DLC for Rock Band 1-3) and Rock Band 4, but I genuinely find myself playing the PS2 titles far more than anything else. This disc just had such a solid setlist from start to finish and it gets me super nostalgic just hearing it again.
