Numark Party Mix 2 - first DJ Mix Dance + House 2021 with the new DJ Controller

- This is my first DJ Mix with the new Numark Party Mix 2 / Numark Party Mix II DJ Controller. This new DJ Controller has a Build In Light Show with 3 LED Lights on the back with beat lighting.
This is a pretty good DJ Controller for beginners at a very good price. The Numark Party Mix 2 DJ-Controller comes with Serato DJ Lite and works with Serato DJ Pro too. It costs around 130USD/100€. The Numark Party Mix 2 DJ-Controller is pretty small. It has high and low knobs as well as filter knob. The filter knob is new compared to the old Numark Party Mix.

It's a VERY GOOD controller, especially for beginners. I tried it and its awesome.
PS: stop abusing the flanger effect, it's a mistake that noobs make
The Numark Party Mix 2 (and the old one too) have very limited set of button reachable effects without switching the software to Serato DJ Pro to preselect other effects by default. My intention was and still is to have fun while testing and mixing with different DJ Controllers and not to abuse a single effect, I am sorry about that and hope you enjoyed the mixes nevertheless. 😍

You just need to active the keylock function (should be active by default, available in both Lite and Pro version of Serato DJ)

OK, I now understand that if I click on the keylock symbol, I can change the bpm without changing the key of the track, but is it also possible to "just" change the pitch without affecting the bpm? for mashups, that would be a cool feature.
you need pitch & time plugin for Serato DJ Pro. The Lite Version doesn't support this feature afaik.
Can you add other songs or do you have to use the factory ones?
you can add songs as you like. just drop them into a crate on left side.
how did you record it without serato dj pro?
This video was recorded in OBS Studio with PC speakers output and system and other sounds muted on local PC. AFAIK you can use virtual audio cable too. The two controller videos added later during cut. Anyway I do not recommend this on local PC since you need a lot of CPU and GPU power to avoid lags.

the platinum FX is good for enhanced beginners. pretty nice.
Why is there nothing when you press effects, or anything on how to get acapllas on here or your downloaded packs
When using effects I use it not too much (wet, max 30%) to avoid bad sound or irritated audience. If you want to use acapellas you can try a newer version of serato with stems.

can you use it with Logic pro?
I haven't tested it yet but probably it won't work since Logic Pro is a DAW and not a DJ Controller Software.

Serato works with Windows 11
So my wife just got me one of these because I used to mix way back, but it's driving me nuts (I'm used to old school mixers not dj controllers). When I cueing up a track, how the hell do I listen to each channel independently in the headphones. All I find is to press the little "headphone" buttons, but other than lighting up they don't seem to change jack shit.
Headphones must be in the controller, all knobs of the cued line in the middle. Try to use headphones only, no one's with a microphone from you to mobile. Check in settings of Serato if you have cueing at 50%.

like everywhere in the world a DJ has to prepare his DJ Set to the target crowd. I recommend you to request your manager about your crowd and the people in your location what they want to listen.
