This deserves a lot more views. Maybe you should post it on the tno subreddit or something.

    Explaining those unknown icebergs:
Somaliland: (Yeah, I didn't find any info about Somaliland)
Thick Slovakia: In Early TNO, Slovakia used to have modern day territories, but with extra land. This is also might reference to Dev diary: Slovakia.
PoD was Germany winning the battle of Bulge: This has something to do with Soviet Swiss
Libsoc Burgundy: There was an reddit about Libsoc burgundy focus tree (It was just a Buryatia focus tree).
Purple Romania: Back in early TNO, Romania used to have purple colour, but in the end it was changed.

Those are what I like to call “developer countries” all of these “developer countries are “ “COMECON”, ”Andean Pact”, “Zoverlin”, and an unnamed anarchy country three of them are economic spheres so they show the correct flag when you go to that screen (thought zoverlin is not there) and the anarchy country is used to click events to trigger stuff like demilitarize west Africa and Novosibirsk air project success

Correction: Andrey Dikiy and the Sturmoviks were actually going to be the most extreme faction in Komi's Passionarity and not footsoldiers of Nazbol Komi. Basically, they would have been SS-LARPing adherents of the Burgundian System and possibly tied into a planned neo-pagan path for Komi, which had some elements of the Aryan Brotherhood's Hyperborea. Dikiy and the Sturmoviks were then replaced by Sergey Taboritsky and OVRI a year before release as evidenced by their portraits being switched around.

@@ཞ̇̉ Yes. Andrey Dikiy was the civilian head of KONR (the same faction behind Samara) and an unabashed Nazi collaborator who was also an anti-Semitic, anti-Ukrainian and pseudo-scientific writer living in New York City. Given his status, Dikiy was supposed to be the Esoteric Nazi leader of Komi, but he was replaced by Funni Clock Man thanks to the suggestion of one dev, Magnimik.
Had Dikiy stayed on board as a major member of Passionarity, his path would have been quite different from Tabby's. Since the original BurgSys path for Komi involved Slavic neo-paganism, its leader would have been most likely Dikiy. His backstory as a warlord probably had him kicked out of Samara for his pro-Nazi views once Andrey Vlasov and the others turned on him. Even before this banishment, Dikiy went further into his interest in Russian history, particularly the prevalence of Slavic paganism prior to Vladimir the Great's conversion to Orthodox Christianity. It's from here that Dikiy became the adherent, if not the leading figure, of an SS-influenced, Nazi-inspired version of Slavic paganism, resulting in the formation of the most extreme group within Passionarity: The Sturmoviks. The Sturmoviks themselves are essentially a group dedicated to spreading a Russified version of Nazism and the revival of the Slavic pagan religion as practiced among the ancient tribes in Russia and elsewhere. The Sturmoviks take on the aesthetics of both Nazi Germany and pre-Christian pagans, particularly the SS. As noted by TheLonelyKnightess, the original BurgSys Komi had extremists trying to create an artificial version of Slavic paganism completely free of so-called "foreign influences," including Christianity. Granted, the real Dikiy was never particularly interested in Slavic paganism, but he was an anti-Semitic writer in real life, so I could buy into the idea of him embracing a pagan revival since he thinks Christianity is "too Jewish" since it's founder Jesus of Nazareth was a Jew coupled with the circumstances of the Russian Anarchy influencing his life similar to Dmitry Yazov or Kenichiro Komai.
As for what his path would entail, his ideology would have probably been a Slavic-flavored version of Esoteric Nazism as opposed to Taboritsky's Imperial Cult. Dikiy's depiction in that path would be similar to his depiction in After Midnight as a cruel, despotic figure responsible for the suffering and brutality of millions, particularly among non-Slavs. It would also involve plenty of industrialization and pollution since Knightess described this path as being an industrial pagan. Unlike Taboritsky, Dikiy would not be obsessed with finding Alexei or "purging" himself of his Jewish heritage, and he would not suffer a mental breakdown into insanity either. Most importantly, Dikiy's Russia would be alive and well to launch the Second West Russian War against the Nazis to reclaim Moscow and beyond, if not trigger a nuclear apocalypse through his actions, making him a global failstate.
Related to this, if Dikiy and the neo-pagan BurgSys path were kept in the final product, it's possible that the Aryan Brotherhood/Hyperborea would have been cut entirely since there's already a neo-pagan, Nazi-inspired path for another faction with elements of them grafted onto Dikiy and the Sturmoviks such as ideology and the presence of Valery Yemelyanov.
