This is the 2nd song in the Voyage concert in London. Not an obvious choice but works so well after The Visitors. Both songs highlight a different side to Abba that the public are unaware of. Abba never cease to surprise and thrill
Thanks for your awesome ABBA reactioins. If you like that song you should watch Does Your Mother Know & Hole In Your Soul (Live at Wembley 1979). Greetings from Germany.
ABBA'S ROCK SONGS ARE TOTALLY UNDERRATED. TRY OUT: TIGER, KING KONG SONG, WATCH OUT, SO LONG, ON AND ON AND ON, KISSES OF FIRE....THE ENERGY THEY PUT OUT IS REMARKABLE. THEY SING THEIR A....OF😘😘😘😘
Thats the thing with ABBA,you never get what you expect, because they tried so many music genres, and new things in their music right from the start,BUT,always with that trademark ABBA sound to it...so it was new but also the same at the same time...
Great song. Best part for me is the end when I crank up the volume for the amazing electric guitars when they come to fore. I only wish they extended Lasse Wellanders playing even more.
It's incredibly good and different kinds of music. Everything from rock to Mama mia‼ ️Talk about talented artists. Some songs are masterpieces 🏆Wish they get Awards for the latest album Voyage! 🌹⭐⭐⭐⭐🌹
abba's albums and b-sides are a lot more interesting than just the old hits all the time hey hey helen is also pretty rocky and elaine the b-side of the winner takes it all i also like king kong song i think it sounds a bit like the b-52's
Urs Geiser surprise, surprise! now you - Tyler - has discovered the rock part of ABBA (once you reacted to Does Your Mother Know, but the short versionwithout guitar solo), an other facet of ABBA music. I'm 100% agreed with Kristian (learnt two new English words: acute + exaggerated; the two angel voices sound too shrill (in German schrill), Disney similar, overproduced (terrible too: Lover Live ... on Voulez-Vous). The Live Version Wembley 1979 - as Franky suggested - is much wamer, but also full energy. In the second part of their career ABBA sended out full energy on their rare concerts. Many rock musicians were impressed and rewarded by ABBA shows. If you find the time and the desire - perhaps over Christmas or New Eve - , Wembley is a treasure of Highlights: Summer Night City, Why Did I Haven't Be Me, Eagle, Gimme-Gimme-Gimme (long version), Voulez-Vous (perhaps a new favor for you: "want you"; you can specuate what) ...... till the other facet The Way Old Friends Do. The bangers On And On and Me And I (one of my Synti favor; not so a good version on Wembley) are brilliant in Dick Cavett Show 1981, best live performance of all songs - powerful in classic clothes, not sexy Wembley outfits. Tyler, your reactions make me always happy; they are direct and honest from your heart and soul. All the best!!!
I think you liked it, but you didn't like some weird parts. I'm not sure. I think you did like it. It's an under-rated song for sure, and it stands up remarkably well in the 2020s considering it dates from the 1970s. I always listen to the end out of politeness so I heard your plea for subscribers. I subscribed a while ago because you are on an Abba voyage of your own and I enjoy hearing your and your wife's reactions to these songs.
@German Morawski Even die-hard Abba fans have to listen several times to a new Abba song to really understand it. I remember the first time I heard The Name of The Game and I was not at all sure I liked it. I soon realised I did (and do).
THX, Tyler, I really like this song, but I think they have accelerated the tempo too much after recording everything. It makes everything too acute. They did this on other pieces but it was not noticeable and better, for the final result, here, it seems to me that it is too exaggerated, obvious.
Shame that you got cold feet about explaining what you meant by "delightfully weird". Sometimes you just got to risk offending some people so to get your point across. So much of the sound of this track is delightfully weird - much to do with what's going on with fhe instrumental backing. There's so much going on.
Yeah, that really was Agnetha hitting those note.
The live performance is fantastic. They all have a ton of fun on stage.
I love watching your reaction to this song. Especially when Agnetha hits that high note. Priceless.

Also Rock N Roll Band, from Ring Ring.
The bridge in this song.. 2:52 are really art of work in it self. Increddible hard to sing.

You can pick your own ABBA songs (wikipedia has a track list), don't stop reacting to ABBA until you finished all tracks.
I know I keep saying this, but I love your ABBA journey!
ABBA does Queen! It ABBA’s heaviest rock song. If you want more heavy, dirty ABBA tracks…. check out So Long! … or Hey Hey Helen…. or Rock Me!
👍🏼 Agreed. You just hit the other Top ABBA BANGERS I was going to suggest. I would add …On and On and On to the list.
"Watch Out" is ABBA's heaviest rock song!
It's incredibly good and different kinds of music. Everything from rock to Mama mia‼ ️Talk about talented artists. Some songs are masterpieces 🏆Wish they get Awards for the latest album Voyage! 🌹⭐⭐⭐⭐🌹

Two words: MOVE ON!!!!!
All the people mentioned in the verse are people who work for them - interesting fact.
Always react with gf to ABBA songs

Live version even better, as loads of comments will tell you.
Looking forward to your Voyage reaction. Find a way even if you limit the audio.
