Another thing to try if you have Photoshop is the Filters > Neural Filters > Super Zoom which is Adobe's AI-powered upscaler. It gives you more control over noise and detail enhancing, a bit similar as Topaz AI Gigapixel.

It has been for me too. However do you often get the out of memory error? Because I'm getting it a lot and I'm not sure what to do different
@@alexanderivarson856 I’ve gotten that a lot when I make something up in canva with text and then try to upscale the original image + text. Not sure that’s the work around is, I’m fairly new to this whole side hustle. Sorry 😬
@Spoomba I guess it's caused from the image being to big. So I took a screenshot of a low res image. It kept the same crap quality obviously but was the res of my z fold4. So it seems to be if the image is above 2k if you try to upscale it, you get an error

Great video. Straight to the point with no fluff. One quick tip to add is that if you're going for 8k upscale then you should also bump up the dpi resolution from 72 to 300.

In photoshop do you need to change to a higher resolution as well say from 72dpi to 200
quick question, do you have to open the image in browser, or as long as you open the image or send it to ur docs.
Awesome. I bought a wall/ floor printer that can print extremely large prints. I use ai to create images, but with ai upscaling, this will definitely make my side business succeed

I love it but the images created are too heavy for Printful that allows only 20mo per image to load... I like tu upload 8000x12000 on it to make posters, can you help me doing them less heavy?
The images come out as PNGs. Re-saving them as JPEG should reduce the file size without hurting quality. not 100% sure but worth a try
By the way I forgot to ask you, the stock photo sites demand from the images to have a 300 DPI resolution for Printing purposes, and not at 72 DPI, that is for the web display. Right?
I don't know much about stock sites but w that you're saying sounds correct to me. 300dpi for print 72 for Web

That's actually really cool! I have an older PS so I doubt it will upscale anything well. I will have to check out that free upscaler. Not so much for AI but for public domain images I get which are often too small for POD use. Thanks! - Heidi

Does that work with photography looking (as opposed to these cartoonish or animation ones)? My art is realistic (as in one isn't easily going to tell it's originally digital unless nitpicking).

Thanks for this video! I was looking for ways to upscale. What's your experience with printing - esp larger poster sizes with 72dpi Vs 300dpi. Is it worth converting to 300dpi? Thanks in advance 🙏🏼🙏🏼
I print daily and 300 dpi is the minimum if you don't want to see the pixels, 72dpi is more for websites.
@@cannachrissd I will prepare a file for printing, but when I make 300 dpi from 72 dpi (with photoshop), the size of the file becomes 35mb. how can i solve? thanks.

Hello, Thank you for this video. I am a bit confused when it comes to upscaling. I am creating coloring pages for print but the AI images are only 72 resolution. In my photography days, we would choose 300 resolution, what is the best way to get my MJ images to 300? I am using topaz upscaler, it does a fantastic job but its still at 72 ? please help with this as i am spending hours creating these pages and I want them to be the best they can be when a customer prints them (instant download) or when Amazon prints them.

Photoshop neural filter - super zoom is the best way to do in Photoshop.

I tried that upscaler but it kept giving me out of memory errors and I was only trying to upscale 2.5 times as the original image was 3600x3600. I tried 3 times with the same result. - Heidi
Mhh that's odd, never had that problem before. Maybe see if there is a way to contact them to see if it's an issue with the site or your machine
@@PhilipAnders Tried it again several times just now and kept getting same message : Not enough memory available to process your request. Try reducing the size or number of any file inputs or outputs.
Have you tried with a large image before? As I stated before my original, a download from CF, is 3600X3600 pixels and I want to make it at least 5000X5000 pixels. Maybe I should make it smaller, even if that seems counterproductive, and try it again.

@@PhilipAnders Well I just reduced the dimensions to 1100X1100 pixels and tried again with a resize of 5 (instead of 1.5 with the larger file) and it worked. So I guess the size of the starting image does play a role. Odd. I am glad it worked this time and now I have my over 5000X5000 pixels image. :D
@@BlackCat_2 That's funny I just had the same issue before I started with a larger file and got the same error. So you must be right the starting dimensions have to be smaller :) Thanks!

Lamborghini is a brand, you are not allowed to sell branded stuff. I recommend doing some research into intellectual property & trademark laws

I think the reason is that they are not accepting ai generated art work any more. So l have to make thing again with my own creativity. I’m just wondered why you didn’t increase the DPI when you increased the pixels in photoshop.
I’ve been upscaling in affinity by firstly increasing DPI to 300, then increasing pixel size - but I’m a newbie and I’m not sure if I’m doing it right

You don’t need to increase dpi if you are specifying image resolution in pixels.
