- It's the closed season at Blackpool Pleasure Beach which means there's a lot of winter work happening around the amusement park. We decided to take a trip up to Blackpool just before Christmas Day to see where they're up to with it all, especially the Big One retracking project.

We have decided to outsource the logo design, hopefully reveal the new main logo next month.

@@gadget4501963 We got some very harsh things said after our rebrand last winter including “your channel will die within weeks”, so definitely sympathised with Thorpe’s social media team when they rebranded.
I did like the old PBE logo, you knew exactly what it was, no explanation needed, companies pay a fortune to have that ie Nike, etc. The old logo coaster hill with just the word EXPERIENCE would of been great. 👍 @@yourexperienceguide
As a former graphic designer, I'm looking forward to the new logo reveal to see what they have done. I felt the last one with the sign posts gave the impression that you were lost and didn't know which direction to go in after the rebrand.

The Big One is rougher than ever this year, Is all these retracks actually making the coaster worse?
They haven’t done a full retrack so in my opinion no, the older sections aren’t improving and the newer sections make the old sections seem worse

I will never understand why they don’t just get some new trains for the big one? Surely that would make it smoother. Some b&m trains with suspension?
Track replacements are to replace damaged track, trains are not in need of replacing
@@yourexperienceguidehow? The trains are TERRIBLE and from decades ago. Newer trains have better designs to be smooth. These trains are absolutely terrible.
@@chrissharratt8042 I am happy to take the word of the expert engineers who inspect the ride every year, both external and internal inspections bodies. Track replacement is the priority.
