Thank you so very much, excellent example of collaboration, free software, and open source together with one goal, bitcoin. The open-source stage of the event seems to be most interesting, and relevant to bitcoin, just my opinion.

Seedsigner is better than coldcard IMHO. I really like the UX. Would love to see a better camera though. But yeah, the QR code is cool. I also looked at Jade, but honestly, their UX was not awesome. I'm a software developer with 40 years experience.

SeedQR is BRILLIANT. I wish you'd also do Passphrase QR, perhaps using the same concept. 4 digits per word from the BIP39 wordlist, perhaps separating each 4 digits with a space to denote the fact that the words are separated by a space. Just thinking out loud here. I feel like most hardware wallets make using a passphrase cumbersome because it takes so much time to enter one. With SeedSigner, 2 QR codes would do the job quickly and efficiently (obviously, it's the user's job to secure those QR codes, but that's no different than how it's already the user's job to secure the first QR code and the passphrase).

Is there a way to check if my newly created seed phrase is truly unique and has not been used by someone else before?

seed hammer looks cool, but how strong is the ink on the metal? Maybe one would want to encrypt their private key using aes 256 encryption and then seed hammer the encrypted QR code only, if this is the case, then how long would the ink last. I guess its current usecase works since it prints the words but it would be good to know how long the ink lasts?

The seed qr is generated on the seed signer. You print out an empty qr template and then manually transcribe box by box

No, but Jade can be used in a similar air-gapped QR mode.
But if you buy a Jade, your email etc. might end up in some lists whereas if you source the parts of a Seedsigner from different places, nobody can guess that you own BTC or are using a hardware wallet.
