That design is so lovely! It's my first time hearing about stencils! I agree with painting all the way up the wall. It makes it look like a full wallpaper and gives the atmospehre of a cottage kitchen. I also love the second color on top. It blends the green really well with the painting and adds a softer touch 😊Looking forward to the finished look!

So love the stencil project, it's wonderful! The colors compliment the picture, adding the paler color was an ingenious idea which gives the stencils an extra highlight.
This stenciling looks incredible. It's so perfectly done. I love the addition of the second color. Also the editing in this video was amazing - the part with the stenciling and washing was so perfectly choreographed with the music. I don't know if you did that purpose or not but it was amazing.

We once had a spruce colored wall and we really enjoyed it. I had fallen in love with Blue Spruce Coniferous Trees and their magnificent tones of powdery blue green. The Dresses are very pretty. Oh my goodness!!! That absolutely transforms your kitchen. I cannot tell you how much I love that!! Amazing!! I have also done stencilling. I painted and then did a layered rose stencil on the inside of my closet. I thought it would be easier and much less expensive than wall paper. I don't know if it was easier. I know exactly how tired you were!! But I was also thrilled with the result. It's so satisfying. What really blew my mind was how you just started. I spent almost an entire day mapping out my wall size and figuring out the perfect grid and the perfect spacing so that the roses would end in the right place in all of the corners....and also figuring out how to deal with the shelf in my closet and how to make it look so that the pattern didn't look interrupted. By the time I had it all figured out, I was so overwhelmed that I was just about ready to give up. But you! You just started in one corner and eye balled the whole thing!! And you said it wasn't perfect, but it sure looked perfect to me. I am amazed by your results. Wow!!

I do like projects. When I hear fall or August I start itching to change something in the kitchen. Curtains, a hanging, organization, anything. Fall cleaning instead of the conventional spring cleaning I guess. I have a sage kitchen but it's more yellow than I'd like. I've been wanting to do a cooler green on the wall with teal accents (the wall being the monochromatic sister), pops of lavender or a pink with dishes and things. That elegant clean french feel with lavender field and english teaparty inspiration. It looks like wallpaper without the hassle. Love it!

You may want to find some type of polyurethane or something to cover the beautifulness so you can wash and clean it. That is gorgeous and I do love it with the blue
