to be fair, Sending Theon was the bigger mistake, as releasing him didn't keep Balon in check. But to be fair again, trusting the ironborn wasn't a dumb thing, the only reason things went bad was because Balon was an idiot. Robb offered Balon to join with him and sack the Westerlands, the richest lands in the entire continent. Only Balon was dumb enough to decline that offer in favour of raiding some poor villages in the North.
True. Things went bad not because the ironborn were untrustworthy( which they were) but because balon was a bloody idiot who could never make a sensible decision.
@@ozrub7993 Balon my son yuo are men now yu must choose enemy to fight in war will you pick lannisters and sack the greatest gold mines of westeros, being rich beyond your dreams or raid piss poor northern fishing villages for temporary gains?
Haven't watched yet. Bran is the worst. Every other Stark actually DID something. Despite the outcome or failure, every other Stark DID something. Bran spent 3 seasons being ultimately useless to the story and 4 seasons warged out of his f'n mind. Wanna talk about season 8? BOOOOO! (edit) I FORGOT RICKON WAS EVEN A STARK! Ok, Rickon is the worst in the show.
@Dominus564 not only that, I actually laughed my ass off when Rickon got killed. Like, he wasn't even a real character before he disappeared for 4 seasons, then he randomly pops back up, still has no lines and is killed immediately. How is that not supposed to be comedy?
To be fair, Robb was already fighting an uphill battle. Obviously Robb was warned not to free Theon, but they were best friends. Also, Balon is braindead. “Hey dad, let’s raid plunder and conquer the richest region in the entire continent while our ally distracts their army!” “No son, we need to raid and conquer the entire North, the largest and poorest kingdom with the most LANDMASS.” Robb also didn’t choose to be king. He was proclaimed king by Greatjon and his other vassals, which stopped any alliance or cooperation with Stannis. Moreover, Lysa Tully should have actually joined the war with Robb, Cat and Hoster. Like, she’s got no reason not to. War instantly over if the Vale joins Robb. Like, a lot of things should have happened.
@@OurHiltsHurt I don't entirely blame him for enjoying it. He has lost so much agency in his life from losing his legs, his goals, his home, his family. If I were stuck on some uncomfortable sled and had the ability to walk in someone else's shoes or paws, I'd probably do it too. Atleast until I saw how scared it made Hodor.. and then I'd just stick to animals unless absolutely necessary.
So i definitely cant stand Sansa as a character, but you cant really blame her for dipping out on tyrion at the opportune moment, thats just survival instincts at that point. And yeah, tyrion was nice to her specifically, but people's idea about him is also colored very differently due to his portrayal in the show. In the books tyrion has a much darker streak and isnt really a "good" guy
you also have to remember that despite him being a nice guy he still marries her as a punishment in the name of the family which has been holding her hostage for years
After reading the books again, Tyrion's streak is not that dark or even close to it. Tyrion is definitely a "good" guy but he is not a saint like in the show. Honorable people liked Tyrion (Jon, Aemond, Garlan, Griffm Faegon etc) but he also made enemies with s** people and failed to deal with them properly. But Tyrion was not remotely angry that she left him, Tyrion saw Sansa as a child and never really took her seriously beyond her family name.
@@theelectricprince8231 Tryion didn't have a lot of choice in the matter true, but treating Sansa like the bad guy for not wanting to be with him, or praising Tryion for not outright raping and abusing her (even though he thinks about it, ALOT) is crazy. What Tryion does is the bare fucking minimum.
@@Stay_Zerose Tyrion stood up to Joffery for her, that is more than the bare minimum. That being said Tyrion does not think she is the bad guy for not liking or wanting to be with him, so there's that. My issue with Sansa is how she treated Jon and when she failed to stick up for her sister, that is why I think a lot of people don't like her at first. Sansa is not the bad guy, she is ultimately a powerless child.
But this simply isn't true is it? Ramsay literally tells Jon he is only leaving Winterfell because he has the strength of numbers and knows his army will smash Jon's. you add the Knights of the Vale and suddenly, it becomes a siege, a siege during Winter - something Stannis Baratheon, one of the greatest commanders in the entire Seven Kingdoms sacrifices his daughter to try and prevent.

Happy you guys don't just blindly hate on Rickon. Kid has had like no time to learn anything but everyone dunks on him because of the failure to zig zag.
Plus the failure to zigzag is simply his lack of plot armor. If it was Arya, she would have survived even if she did the same thing. I mean, she survived the wound that killed Khal Drogo.
Not to mention he was probably scared out of his mind. Besides, a good shot would've been able to tag him if he was just zig zagging because he would've had a predictable pattern. His only shot was pivoting into a diffrent direction as soon as he heard the arrow let loose, but even that's a maybe.

Didn't Brandon go to KL first, and then the Mad King summoned Rickard to answer for his son's 'treason'. The Mad King had Brandon imprisoned, and Rickard went down to get him released via a Trial by Combat. Aerys named fire his champion.
I agreed on some, but Sansa, really? During her wedding, she was thirteen, her family killed and she had no benefit in consummating marriage, cus it was means to take Winterfell and mostly mockery, to her, who still wished to marry knight, someone nice and honourable, not someone who spent time whoring and was Lannister. During Joffrey's wedding, she is blamed by Cersei as well, and as she did not had any protection (Tyrion had Jaime, and by that time Hound was gone), do you think she would be left peacefully? Cersei would have tortured her. Even during her escape, she still believed that drunkard knight is helping her honestly, because she still is a child who believes in better world. Furthermore, ofc she was unhappy in Vale, where her "loving aunt" hated her and aunt's husband tried to kiss her. She is annoying and childish, but she is a child raised in tales of knights and in the castle, who despite grim experiences still believe in tales. In the Vale she is fourteen, which even by ASOIAF standards isn't the marriage time yet.
Arya has arguably faced more trials and has had to be more self reliant, and still handled her situations very well. Sansa sucks. But it's true, Sansa definitely didn't have it easy either.
@@OurHiltsHurt Arya (at least show version) sucks way worse if we use your mental gymnastics. In the show she had Tywin freaking Lannister right under her nose and didn't use one of her 3 FREE kills to eliminate him. If she had him killed, the Lannisters in KL would have been done. But more importantly, the Red Wedding doesn't happen. Said wedding resulted in the death of Rob and Cat and thousands of Northmen.
Sansa is 11 in the books. A literal child. They way they talk about her is creepy. She isn't my favorite character but she went through a lot. Arya couldn't have gone through the same while being able to grin and bear it the way Sansa did.
Exactly it's insane. Sansa is a CHILD. She was a child who got manipulated. Also, with her whole "I want to be a princess" thing, she was raised to be like that? I cannot stand these people talking about her like this
I like how being a child can wipe away anything a character does and there is nothing "creepy" about what they said. Sansa is not a demon or a schemer but she is the least likable Stark character and the hardest to relate to or sympathize with at the start of the books. She becomes sympathetic later on obviously. Sansa has the worst relationship with Jon and disparages him, she is the most integrated into the Westerosi class system, she covered up for the vile crap Joffery did and failed to tell the truth which lead the butcher boy being killed. Sansa was not very likable at the start
@theelectricprince8231 Really? Because an eleven year old only understands how things affect them personally. They are incapable of looking at the bigger picture. Also, she was manipulated by a grown woman. Again let me reiterate that Sansa is ELEVEN!!!! A literal child. The two grown men in the video mentioned how she should have just had sex with Tyrion and shouldn't have complained about having to kiss Little Finger. Might I bring to your attention that Tyrion and Little finger are over thirty!!!! They are both old enough to be her father. If you don't find grown men talking about how an eleven year old little girl should of had sex with a grown ass man creepy, dude, you might just be a pedophile. Just nasty. I swear to god if you reply that that was somehow okay because of the time the book was set in, I promise I will know everything I need to know about you.
In regards to the whole Jaime situation, Ned was actually in the right. I mean, look at it from Ned's perspective. While he and the other rebels were out fighting in the war for a over a year, Tywin and his crew were just sitting back chilling. It's not until the rebellion is won that they decide to side with them, he treacherously takes the capital, and massacres thousands of innocent people unnecessarily, and while all of that was going on, Jaime was killing the Mad King at the most convenient time when his father's army was on the winning side, and then for reasons that no one can comprehend, sits on the throne and jokes about it. In fact, Jaime himself never once tried to explain why he did what he did, nor did he tell anyone about the plots of wildfire under the city. By the way, while Jaime was breaking his oath and the city was getting sacked, Elia and her children were being horrifically raped and butchered. When take all of this into account, it becomes very apparent that Ned had every right to be suspicious and distrustful towards the Lannisters.
I mean considering George and D&D have both admitted that the only reason he gave them the rights to make the show was because they answered *“Who is Jon Snow’s mother?”* right, it’s basically confirmed that R+L=J. It’s not even a theory anymore, it’s 100% canon to the books. George has even said that he hates when something big is set up in a story and it’s abandoned later on because people “figured it out” stating it takes so much away on re-read and that he’d never do that because it would make all the early work he did pointless. Jon Snow *IS* a Targaryen, I don’t see a point in pretending he’s not or that the books are gunna be different in that aspect, when everything suggests that they simply aren’t. Now, his name probably isn’t going to be Aegon in the books but him being a Targaryen is a confirmed certainty. I’m genuinely baffled every time I see someone say *”we don’t know yet”* brother…yes we do.
He never once told them they were right, just said they could make the show. To this day, when people ask who Jon Snows parents are, he refuses to answer. If he already gave away that R+L=J, then why still refuse it? I think it's totally still possible, but there's other theories. Just because the TV show said this doesn't mean it's true
In the show (I will not and can not read) Arya literally goes from one of the best Starks to one of the worst the second she sets foot in Bravos. Everything about her story pre-bravos is amazing and everything about her story post-bravos is straight doggin
I read the books and watched the show. The book Arya is goated as fuck! Every single time her POV is on, you know something hardcore is about to go down. One of the most exciting characters in ASOIF!
THANK YOU. That’s what I’ve been saying. Her story in Braavos is BORING. It never shows her actually learning or training, she gains a face changing power that never becomes relevant, and she gets got in the stomach 15 times and falls into rancid poopy water and just walks it off. Her never using her face changing powers makes the entire arc useless. Somehow she speaks braavosi btw, magically. I remember when Daenerys didn’t speak Dothraki and it added tension and distance in her relationship with Drogo. But Arya knows braavosi? Besides all of that, how tf does training to be a face-changing assassin correlate to her being a sword fighting master? If an assassin is sword fighting that means he SUCKS at his job. They’re supposed to sneak in and out of places. Plus, The Hound showed her how completely useless her “water dancing” training was, so when tf did she learn expert level fencing?? Without ever fighting someone with actual experience in combat too. That’s not how martial arts training works.
Really? She becomes a badass assassin massacres the entire Frey line, avenges her family and she is one of the worst characters. The only thing the show screwed up is her not killing Jamie and Cersei.
Man I just went on a binge-watch on all the videos and loved every single one. You guys are very funny, especially the HOTD moments like Daemon being progressive when he killed his wife and the blood and cheese stuff. Keep up the good work 👍
I think something a lot of people seem to forget about Sansa is the fact that she's *eleven* at the start of the books. She's been raised on these pretty stories about the beautiful knight being brave and honorable and marrying the pretty princess and them getting their happy ever after. She's also been firmly raised about her "place" in the world. Why does she lie about Arya and Mycah? Because she was raised to always side with her husband. Even then, she doesn't technically side with Joffery. She claims she doesn't remember because that's the safest path, in her mind. Her story is all about being disillusioned and forced to grow up. She spends her chapters learning from all these other characters, and she takes the information in. If I remember right, when she marries Tyrion, she's only like twelve or thirteen. And he's at least twice her age. And Tyrion is not that great of a guy in the books, especially not from her perspective. I'd argue Catelyn is WAY worse. Even if you don't like Sansa's story, Catelyn is objectively worse. In the chapter when she kidnaps Tyrion, she literally has the thought of "We can't allow war to happen" before immediately throwing that all to the wind and kidnapping him. Thus sparking war. I'd even argue that Catelyn is the reason Ned dies. If Catelyn had just let Tyrion be, he would've returned to King's Landing. So then Jaime isn't going to Ned's guards. Ned isn't going to send half his forces to wrangle in Gregor. So Ned has his men with him. His leg isn't broken. And even if that doesn't make a difference and he's still imprisoned and everything, Tyrion would definitely be able to get Joffery to not be a little shit and ignore everyone by executing him. Tyrion is like the one person (Other than Tywin) that Joffery is actually scared of and listens to. So Ned would've been sent to the Wall. Arya likely would've had a much easier time getting to Winterfell and probably wouldn't have been sidelined because there wasn't already a war happening. Most eyes would be upon Stannis and Renly over Robb in the North. Catelyn's single decision to kidnap Tyrion and cause a war after sitting there and thinking about how that was the one thing she couldn't allow to happen is what really jolts the events of the books into happening. When Arya overhears Varys and Illyrio talking under the Red Keep, Varys literally states that everything was thrown out of wack and war was unavoidable BECAUSE of Catelyn's decision to kidnap Tyrion. Which also put Ned in a shit position because now he has to claim it was his idea when it wasn't just to save face.
Nobody makes this exscuse for Bran, the cripple, when he takes Hodor's body but we all seem to make this excuse for Sansa. But it's not much a debate to say Cat is worse.
@@theelectricprince8231 With Bran, it's more split. He's not considered the worst character ever for his stupid decisions made because c h i l d. Sansa's stupid decisions immediately paint her as worst character ever for the majority of people. And I have only seen one or two people mention that the Sansa hate is a bit odd, considering the context of her story. At least we can agree that Cat is the worst and got basically her entire family killed lol
@@shaelynmartin1996Sansa getting hate makes sense. She's not super contemptable because there are perfectly understandable reasons for why she is the way she is, not to mention she grows out of it. She's not an idiot like Cat is. She's young and naive. She still deserves grief because she was a spoiled brat. Not a Joffrey kind of spoiled brat, but still.
@@Tyler_W Yes, but my point is that she gets grief even after moving past spoiled brat stage. Such as her decision to escape when she has the chance after Joffery dies. People get mad at her and hate her for that because it makes Tyrion look even more guilty. I can accept her getting grief from early in the first book. Hate is a bit much, but grief is understandable. But to constantly hate on her and call her the worst character is a bit much. She's forced to learn how to play the game from an extremely young age for survival.
Are you guys even trying to view the characters out of an empathetic lense? Sansa owing Tyrion sex? Tyrion himself felt uncomfortable af with that. She is a CHILD please don’t forget that and she has already gone through immense stress in her very young life. Naivety isn’t unusual for a child. A child literally learns how to live for the first time, making experience and adapting to the world how they deem and learned it. She is a product of her environment and how she learned the best way to adapt to the world (it doesn’t guarantee it being right, but again that’s what she learned working).
Plus Robb wanting to shag after getting bad news is actually not that distant from reality 😭 Sex is literally an escape mechanism in everyday life in order to deal with all these aversive stimuli/feelings in order to not go insane. So him wanting to distract from confronting reality is not all that unreasonable for a character. I doubt that he felt horny because of death news, but rather just wanted to seek comfort💀
She doesn't owe him anything, they never made a contract. It just would have been a nice gesture considering they were married. If either one of us were married to Tyrion in the position he was in, we'd definitely be doing him some favors

Cool uncle, never did anything wrong, but not super important to the main story. C - Sansa, Cat. Both annoying and bratty, both ostracize Jon, but both have some good moments. D - Bran. Weird, annoying, ungrateful. A few of his chapters are interesting, but he’s dead weight for most of the book and show. F - Rickon. Is this even a question? He’s barely a character at all. Crybaby toddler with zero plot significance
Ned was the worst. He cared a bit too much about his honor. Why not tell Cat, "hey back off Jon, woman. It Robert finds out he's gonna kill him." Why not tell Jon, "yo heads up the Watch isn't what you think. There is honor there and you can go far but man it really sucks ass." And why in Seven Hells did he tell Cersie he knew her secret? Jon Aaryon knew and kept his mouth shut, he only told Stannis (who doesn't seem like the type to go around spreading rumors that will definitely get your only support system killed). And Jon still died very easily. But to tell Cersie....wtf?? Sure he probably doesn't want to see her beheaded along with all her kids but dude beheaded that one guy who was running for his life from fucking zombies. That guy's story never changed and he heard his words and did it anyway. Surely Ned (who seems to enjoy the executions), would know that Cersies last words were a challenge. He knew he would sentence Cersie to a life of running away or death. When he told her, to Ned, wouldn't that be the equivalent to hearing her last words? And her response is basically, "yeah I fucked my brother and had 3 kids with him. We aren't going anywhere. Fuck you." Okay. He heard her words and should have moved quicker. Why wait? Order her arrest, work with Renly and deal with his betrayal later. But fuck man Ned was dumb as fuck from the word go. I think a lot of people love him because he's a decent dad. He's getting his shit done in a sense but I think so many are blinded by how great the acting is in the show by Ned's actor. Like how everyone loves Daemon and even Matt Smith doesn't understand it. Matt Smith is just that charming and so perfectly cast in the role that we forget he's actually a really horrible person.
Sansa was an annoying brat, got her father killed, never thought of anyone besides herself 99% of the time and she had almost zero redeeming qualities. It’s either her or Cat, Ned had too much decent deeds on his page to be the worst Stark. It goes like Arya>Ned>Rickon>Brann=Robb>Cat=Sansa plain and simple.
Because in the books R+L≠J otherwise Ned would have told Jon his mother was dead. The truth is that Jon is the trueborn son of Neds first marriage to Ashara Dayne which he was forced to set aside to land the aid of the Riverlands in the war. N+A=J+V. The show went R+L=J because they never built up the Daynes for such a reveal to work. It would be an anti-climax. Ned gets extremely unlucky and betrayed by kin in Kingslanding. First his wife beats him there when she's supposed to be at Winterfell and tells Varys and Littlefinger everything and telling him to trust Littlefinger(despite only trusting him a little herself). Then he sends his wife away to get the north fortified and to keep Theon close. She then decides on a whim to take Tyrion hostage thus starting a war. Jamie rides down kills most his men and shatters his leg for this. His friend King Robert decides this stress is too bothersome and goes hunting instead of making a single ruling here. Ned tells Cersei during this time at which he can still rely on Robert's shadow protecting him. Then Robert comes back dying to a boar, something completely unpredictable. He makes plans to leave and Sansa tells Cersei thus nailing him dead.
I’m beginning to think these videos are just one big troll. (dips out 12 minutes in) Anybody who puts Bran over Sansa - Bran, who wasn't even PRESENT in S5 while Sansa pleaded for Ned's life before the court back in S1 - has no credibility whatsoever.
I put show Sansa right at the bottom. In fact, she's on the short list of my least favorite characters in the entire show. Edit: My list (for in the show) is Arya, Robb, Ned, Jon, Catelyn, Bran, Benjen, Rickon, Sansa. Only reason I put Ned over Jon is because Jon annoys me with his constant whining and brooding and he's a simp. Only reason I don't put Catelyn over both Ned and Jon is because of the atrocious decision to let Jaime go and she didn't have the balls to have Talisa killed before Robb could marry her.
Jon didn’t break the vows. Night’s Watch vow don’t forbid sexual relation with women, but it says “We are the shield that guarded the realms of men”, so it’s better to say that the whole Night’s Watch breaks the vow while they kill wildlings.
@@VeryVinti Well, I've never needed characters to be flawless to like them. As to why I like the Starks in particular, I'd have to say that they are generally sweet and sincere characters with a knack for worming their way into the hearts of those around them. As he said, “You served him well, when serving was safe.” He was pissed that Jamie did nothing for so long.
Interesting how Robb and Ned are parallels in terms of outcomes of their experience with women. Eddard was war-bound to Catelyn and probably the Daynes understood that, but in order to protect the honor of Ashara and the future Lord of Winterfell, she had to fake her death and the baby's perhaps. While Robb... well, he did all the opposite lmao
Big fan of what you guys are doing. Keep it up. I always got the feel that Ned was less annoyed by Jamie killing the king and more annoyed by the timing of it. By the time Jamie killed the king he had already invaded the capital and sacked the city. He was dead anyway, and now you wanna join up. It's the same thing with Walder Fray.
She didn’t told Robb that Ned wanted this. She told him after he already stopped listening to her. She started the war when the Starks weren’t prepared. She is to blame for the suffering and death of thousands.
The prevailing theory for why Benjen took the black is because he knew about Lyanna and that she went off with rhaegar (Lyanna and Benjen were very close) and he never told anybody about it which led to the death of not only her, his brother and father but also thousands of others in the rebellion. You should look it up it actually has a lot of substance

I agree with them. Rickon did nothing wrong. Abandoned by his mother. Ignored by everyone. Forced to leave his home at the age of four. Bran on the other hand, ruined hodor’s life. Ate that boy and broke several warging rules. Rickon did nothing wrong. Bran did several things wrong.
It’s fair to put Rickon in the middle given he was barely in the show but that my also be a reason to put him at the bottom. There was no reason to even have him in the show at all. Take him out and the only thing different would be the battle between Jon and Ramsay
Bizarre take of Sansa. She should have slept with Tyrion? She was passed around from Joffrey to Little Finger to Tyrion to Ramsey and was raped and abused along the way. I’d be “ungrateful” too.

Sansa- F by far the worst. She caused the whole house of cards (pun totally intended) to comes falling down in the 2nd episode Cat F- thinks with her heart instead of her head. Gives waaay too much to the Freys for the crossing (which should have NEVER been given regardless) given that Jamie Lannister had attacked Riverrun without cause. Unjustified treatment of Jon. Bran- B has all the answers but does nothing about it Arya- S total and complete badass. She should have killed Cersei AND Jamie Rickon- No opinion Robb- A totally cool in battle but trusts the wrong people Jon- A Savior complex. Good intentions but gives no convictions for his reasons. Ned C- too compliant. Not enough backbone. Should never have made peace with Robert so long as Tywin and his brutes are alive. Benjen- B- doesn't warn Jon what he's getting himself into. Lyanna- A does what she wants, lives how she wants. Brandon- F. Stupid decision to go to King's Landing on his own and issue a death sentence to a King's son.
Lmaoooo bro this is literally the funniest game of thrones channel ever 😂😂😂😂 Rickon being a furry and Bran being a cringe parkour douche had me dying 😂
My most hated Starks were Bran and Arya. Bran is a whiny brat that spends most of the books feeling sorry for himself. He gets told he’s special, and suddenly he’s an arrogant jerk who uses people like Hodor as he pleases. Arya is that toxic, not like the other girls trope. She’s insolent, has no desire to better herself and becomes a sociopath. She joins an order with a sense of honour; they only give the gift to those who are marked or ask, and she abuses what they taught her to kill whoever she wants, bringing them dishonour. Neither Bran or Arya really have character growth, they just get worse and worse as people.
S Robb, Sansa, Catelyn (Ginger supremacy) A Jon, Bran B Arya, Lyanna, Ned C Brandon, Benjen (probably off f'ing around with some wildling girl at this point, lol) F Rickon
@@OurHiltsHurt I'm a bit of a contrarian. The fandom largely dogs on Sansa (Catelyn and Alicent too) for the most ludicrous of reasons; so I partially love them out of spite.
I understand ned not telling catelyn about Jon (I wouldn’t trust her to not let it slip at some point whilst getting pissy about someone thinking her husband was unfaithful), but at some point he should’ve sat her down and told her that she can no longer be cruel to Jon and then if she refuses to listen just undermine her, he is the lord of winterfell any power she wields there is through him. He could easily just tell all of his servants to let John see his little brother.
That's crazy. Sansa to me has the most growth at least in the show. She started as a child who was unaware of all the danger (due to Ned) and turned into a clever mastermind. Everything that happened to the Starks is due to Ned and Rob being foolish.
S = Jon (he learns/grows quickly, takes calculated risks) A= Arya (great all around except that she pulled catelyn from the river, if she just left her things would be better) Ned (Ned is like S tier until John arryns death, he makes like no mistakes except when he finds Jaime & with letting cat treat Jon horribly, and if he didn't listen to Cat & rejected the offer to be hand like he wanted he'd still be near perfect, cat forced him into an environment he isnt well suited for, & the man can't just flip a switch & start ruling in a different way that conflicts w his great history in the rebellion & ruling the north) B = Robb (he's so brilliant in battle etc, just dumb with marriage & his honor & insisting being king, if he marries a Frey & bends the knee to stannis he'd be S tier) rickon C = Brandon (he's dumb hothead, doesn't ask important questions about lyanna & screams outside maegor's hold fast that he wants to fig ht/kill the king's heir, easy death sentence) Benjen (he's at the wall for a reason, it's definitely for messing up during the rebellion & hiding stuff from Ned, best case scenario he went cuz he felt guilty for letting the lie of lyannas kidnapping or hiding her etc, in the books he acts suspiciously around Jon, like he wanted to steal Ned's son away for retribution, he acts weird towards Jon on the journey to & at the wall) D = Lyanna (just cuz she can fight, otherwise she sucks) Bran (saved from being F cuz he's just a kid not knowing better) sansa F = Catelyn (she hates an innocent baby, thinks too highly of her self like cersei, no redeeming qualities. Loving kids doesn't matter, so does cersei & rhaenyra)
In the show, I could kind of bear sansa till she was with ramsay. once she met jon, she again became the entitled bich she was. All she did was used jon to first kill ramsay, and then become queen of winterfell. she had 0 care about the white walkers, she didn't even gave her gratitude to either of jon or dany who were the main reason the whites were defeated.
As far as the whole Katlyn thing goes, I don’t think Ned’s that stupid especially early in their marriage, this is the situation when they first Mary. Just marry this chick who you just met that day who was supposed to be married to your brother who has a sister who is infatuated with another man who is not her husband. You go through the entire world figure out you’ve lost your father brother sister, now have a nephew who would die if the wrong person found out about it. So I’m not telling her that was the right choice. Now, as far as when it gets later on into their marriage, you’ve got to realize that Laysa’s infatuation did not end it got worse. And he probably told Benjen the truth, considering their siblings, and it was their sister that was involved, if he looks at it like that, then that tells him one thing. The likelihood of Katlyn telling her brother or her sister is way too damn high even if it’s by accident. If she tells her brother, her brother is no doubt going to tell her sister her sister will immediately turn around and tell the man who she’s infatuated with. Sad man has just been made master of coin to the one person who cannot find out the truth about your nephews real parentage. There are just way too many variables left out of control and personal relationships on Catlyn side that can be used against her which she’s fallen for in the story as well.

“No son, we need to raid and conquer the entire North, the largest and poorest kingdom with the most LANDMASS.”
Robb also didn’t choose to be king. He was proclaimed king by Greatjon and his other vassals, which stopped any alliance or cooperation with Stannis. @@mack_taylor true. It makes sense why he does it. Bran never does it to Hodor for fun. He does it to protect them from enemies.

You are correct.

@theelectricprince8231
Really?

@@theelectricprince8231Facts!! Nothing but facts in your comment although, I would have been quite a bit harsher but that’s just me 😂
In regards to the whole Jaime situation, Ned was actually in the right.
Well tbf we don't know if he is a Targaryen, he could be a bastard still, although i do doubt it.
What if they guessed right but did the whole R+L=J to throw us off?
George is just trolling. Jon looks wayy too much like Ned to not be his son.
If Jon was Rhaegar's son, he would look more like Rhaegar.
Personally I’m hoping for a Jaehaerys, but there are plenty of good choices.

@@OurHiltsHurt I understand your sentiments (and the last sentence was really funny. I too am a great fan of Tyrion :D But we are talking about the perspective of adults), but again doing someone a favour to show gratitude doesn’t have to only be limited by bodily pleasure. Tyrion made it clear that he didn’t want to because she was a child and that’s (thankfully!!!) aversive to him. I think he found great comfort in her feeling comfortable to behave more authentic without restricting herself like she does around literally everyone in Kings landing. Like the one time where she proposed doing the prank Arya used to pull on her :D. He seemed to enjoyed her joking with him.
@@OurHiltsHurtA nice gesture? U do realize that she is a CHILD right? There are other things she could’ve done there’s no way to fault her for not wanting to help him in that way while she was essentially a hostage and also a child just cuz he was nice to her
@@OurHiltsHurt Sansa didn't know Tyrion was gonna get implicated for Joffery's death or even that Joffery would be dead for sure as he was only half way choking to death! You both are Dum fks! Throw away those mics! Did you even watch the show?😂😂😂
Jon and Ned are the only S tier Starks
ummmmm Sansa was a prisoner in kings landing, she finally got a chance to get out, at what point does she make a decision for herself? Oh she should have stayed for a Lanister. That's nuts. If they had not rated Arya so high, I would have said they were favoring the men.
lol. Sansa has choices and she chooses wrong most times. Idk what to tell you, take it up with George.
why does everyone hate sansa?? she was a child at start of the series and yes she made mistakes... because Ned didnt think to teach her anything about life in the captial ESPECIALLY as a woman. Im so tired of people dogging on her for no reason. she is learning!!! and trying her best to navigate a world she didnt know at all.
I mean I feel like that should fall on cat because she would know best on what the capital is like Ned as a man is more capable of protecting himself in a fight due to how the two genders are raised in the world
@@wildwolfst.julien4873 I see ur point and agree to an extent, however Catelyn wasnt brought with Ned and the girls to KL and I know Ned wouldn't know how to teach them considering the gender roles but he still should've said more than "this is a dangerous place" imo. agreed like yes she was annoying at first but she was just a kid!
I know that this channel is satire but after 3 videos flaming Ned for the Jamie situation I just have to mention what you already know. He wasn't judging Jamie about killing the mad King but about killing him when the war was already over and his father was taking the city. Ned would have appreciated it if he had killed the king while his family was being murdered or while the war was raging. Ned doesn't know about the wildfire because Jamie is a MORON and didn't tell anyone because he was guilt-tripping himself.

Why do so many people hate Sansa? As to your points, what does she owe Tyrion?
1. Because she is an annoying brat.
2. Because Tyrion treated her better than anyone else and saved her from a couple of hits from Ser Trant.
I think the hate comes from early Sansa’s attitude towards most things and how she treats others before she goes to kings landing, however I think she’s far more likable at the end of the series
@@uglukthemedicineman5933tyrion kept her hostage and kept her abuser in power.. by that logic Sansa should be grateful to Cersei and Joffrey for not just putting her in a dark cell

@@uglukthemedicineman5933 Tyrion is also a Lannister. You know, a family that murdered almost of Sansa’s entire family.
Just because he treated her better than the other Lannisters doesn’t absolve the crimes of his family. Tyrion is the least evil, but not good to her.
As far as I’m concerned Jon hasn’t broken anything
He took no wives, fathered no children, and as long as you consider wildlings human he has only ever protected the realms of men.
The oath does not say anything about wildlings.
Also Ned walks in on Jamie and brands him king slayer and my question is “what was Ned gonna do if he walked in and the mad king was still alive?”
He’s just mad at Jamie for kill stealing. He wanted that double kill. I think Ned really was going up there to clean up both king and lil Jamie too, I think Ned already disliked him and branding him king slayer was just his last ditch effort to soil jamies victory and make sure it tattered his reputation, and it worked.

Hey thanks. We appreciate you like the longer length. We weren’t sure if people would like it.
"He couldn't have known", you mean about the Greyjoys? the ones that rebell every 20/30 years? the ones that plunder on the shores of the north and riverland constantly?
S - Jon. Great leader and honorable, but not to a fault like Ned. Whether it’s R+L or N+A, Jon has the best story of any Stark.
A - Ned. Tries to be good man, but honorable to a fault. Arya. Too OP in the show, but great in the books.
B - Robb. Great fighter and military strategist, but dumb enough to lose the North and the entire war effort for 1 cute girl. Benjen.
Best list I’ve seen yet
Perfect list except bran and rickon should switch because I actually had to skip all of brans scenes on my second watch because it’s so boring
Best list
In Ned's defense there is no better way for all of Westeros to know something other than telling Catelyn a secret.
They started by putting rickon on A tier. This isnt a serious video.
Rickon will become a Magical Berserker in the books, leading a pack of werewolves.
The show did him dirty. Never forget.
In truth everyone in the Stark Family are extremely flawed individuals, but some are some are more flawed than others.
It's clearly Arya. Not only did she kill the Night King in Season 8 but she also gave the entire series a death blow. Bad. Ass.

Jon’s whining does get old and it’s worse in the show than it is in the books imo
Jon didn’t break the vows. Night’s Watch vow don’t forbid sexual relation with women, but it says “We are the shield that guarded the realms of men”, so it’s better to say that the whole Night’s Watch breaks the vow while they kill wildlings.
I adore all the starks. (Books only) No matter how many dumb or questionable things they do.

@@VeryVinti Well, I've never needed characters to be flawless to like them. As to why I like the Starks in particular, I'd have to say that they are generally sweet and sincere characters with a knack for worming their way into the hearts of those around them. He was pissed that Jamie did nothing for so long.

You think she is still alive?
Don’t forget that Brandon and Jaime would be chilling in Lannisport when idiot Balon invades and they would canonically destroy all the Greyjoys
Cat told Robb not to send Theon to the iron islands cause Baylon couldn’t be trusted lmao
She was right, one of the few times lol
Catelyn should have gone home. Rob had no choice. It was either she go or he did. By refusing to leave, she’d chosen for him.

Bran is boring and trash
It’s fair to put Rickon in the middle given he was barely in the show but that my also be a reason to put him at the bottom. There was no reason to even have him in the show at all. Take him out and the only thing different would be the battle between Jon and Ramsay

How was Sansa supposed to help Tyrion after Joffrey's death? 🤣

S = Jon (he learns/grows quickly, takes calculated risks)
A= Arya (great all around except that she pulled catelyn from the river, if she just left her things would be better) Ned (Ned is like S tier until John arryns death, he makes like no mistakes except when he finds Jaime & with letting cat treat Jon horribly, and if he didn't listen to Cat & rejected the offer to be hand like he wanted he'd still be near perfect, cat forced him into an environment he isnt well suited for, & the man can't just flip a switch & start ruling in a different way that conflicts w his great history in the rebellion & ruling the north)
B = Robb (he's so brilliant in battle etc, just dumb with marriage & his honor & insisting being king, if he marries a Frey & bends the knee to stannis he'd be S tier) rickon
C = Brandon (he's dumb hothead, doesn't ask important questions about lyanna & screams outside maegor's hold fast that he wants to fig ht/kill the king's heir, easy death sentence) Benjen (he's at the wall for a reason, it's definitely for messing up during the rebellion & hiding stuff from Ned, best case scenario he went cuz he felt guilty for letting the lie of lyannas kidnapping or hiding her etc, in the books he acts suspiciously around Jon, like he wanted to steal Ned's son away for retribution, he acts weird towards Jon on the journey to & at the wall)
D = Lyanna (just cuz she can fight, otherwise she sucks) Bran (saved from being F cuz he's just a kid not knowing better) sansa
F = Catelyn (she hates an innocent baby, thinks too highly of her self like cersei, no redeeming qualities. Loving kids doesn't matter, so does cersei & rhaenyra)
Cat - doesn’t trust Littlefinger very much
Also Cat - tells Ned to trust Littlefinger

I agree with you that Ned made many mistakes, but not telling Catelyn was not one of them.
What a suprise and other creepy incel hating of Sansa.
There are two of us. Which one is the incel?
@@OurHiltsHurt Both. Sansa didn't own Tyrion shit.
Are you ok? lol you seem unwell
Lmaooo it’s not that serious. Sansa’s worst crime is really lacking initiative compared to Chad Arya
No need to throw shade for fictional characters 💀
