Basically every level has a bunch of objectives to complete that give you tokens. You need X tokens to unlock special abilities that help you progress through the game. But watching a nice, comfy walkthrough video of it is worth the while capturing what should've been another piece of the puzzle for my time as a youth growing up. Ain't it just stupendous to ever be a SpongeBob fan during that time of the good ol' days? 😁

Damn, I remember this game... never finished it, for some reason... this was probably just my copy, but i remember the level "Bubble blowing baby hunt" had a weird frame rate issue where the frame rate dropped to 1/2 the frames specifically in that level... it was weird.
I was all type of confused with that level until I rewatched the movie a few nights ago and I get why SpongeBob and Patrick run like retards in the level it's supposed make them look like they're scared of the thugs because they're the ones who blew the bubble. It would've been better if after the level they did what they did in the movie and play the goofy goober theme song and have all of the thugs beat up the conjoined twins.

I've watched some of the levels you've played (Shell City, Dead Ahead for example), and I have to say I'm just disgusted. You're skipping cutscenes, not upgrading certain moves when it's required and overall just rushing through the game so you can get it over with as quickly as possible. That just shows that you don't enjoy this game and you're forcing yourself to play it for us, it just really turns me off and it doesn't immerse me in the experience at all. DO BETTER!
Are you sure I’m skipping cutscenes? I don’t tend to do that. Maybe you’re talking about cutscenes that have already appeared in the video considering this game requires a bunch of stage revisits? Mind pointing some mistakes out?

if yu did as many tasks in most of the levels as you could it wouldnt be as much of a problem (but the random road blocks are a flaw still)
