Because the A 380 was specifically designed for passengers transport. Unlike, the Boeing 747 was originally designed as a Military cargo transport. The difference in structural approach makes the 747 more easier to be converted for it's use. The A 380, due to it's size, would need require substantial restructuring of it's fuselage to make it a viable as a transport plane.
The oldest A380 was put in service 2007, it’s not uncommon to scrap the aircraft at this age, they where the first delivered and they where heavier and not tweaked as later releases. The exactly same thing happened to the newer 787 Dreamliner, the first ones where scrapped for the same reason
I will always fly the A380 until it no longer exists. Its my favourite aircraft to fly on. Will be a sad day when no more A380s will exist. But I do understand the economics of flying such a big aircraft
Add Korean to the growing list of scrapping A380's.. Just scrapped their second .. Leaving them with only 8, currently 5 only flying. All will be gone by 2026..
The 380 is far from boring, the 747 had its day in the 70s-80s etc, it's just a pity that the 380 didn't come sooner. For those who haven't flown on a 380 if you get the opportunity to fly on one do it !
It’s amazing to me that a380 wasn’t designed to be easily converted to carry cargo. Huge (ahem) fail here. Long live the Queen

Give them to global instead
Answer: single purpose aircraft with limited airports able to host them.

It cost less to buy a new 777x than fix the a380 !
Covid was/is a huge factor
Airbuses don’t have structural longevity compared to the 747 take ER-BAR and BAT one is 54 years old no 380 gonna make it that far!
Every Aviation channel pushes its own views. Mostly rubbish.
Would be nice to feature some other airlines that use the A380 in this video other than just Emirates 😒
@@rollie206Lufthansa? 😁
In fact they have their very own business case for them. But indeed what about the others?
👍👍👍👍💯🙌🙌
The A330 is a money maker, A380 not so much. Too big. Its design was ego driven. How many people can afford a suite?
But why?
because the 747 is superior
that said, the a380 is the only airbus i like, its just that 747 is superior

@@r12004rewy is a380 boring or being first boring?or 747 boring?clarify which
